Has anyone else noticed that the little jingle that's been played before the two sets of numbers sounds like a sort of "newsflash" type of sound. Like it would play on the radio before someone said "We interrupt this broadcast to bring you an important message from Boards Of Canada" and basically each time one of these sets of numbers gets released that's precisely what they're doing. "We interrupt your life to bring you a new piece of the puzzle"

Yeah... it reminds me of something... tip of my tongue. Has a distopian future vibe to it.

Also,

(how we know it's the third set of numbers)

Totally get that. It's a chime of vital news, and it's almost certainly BoC. Feels like welcoming an old friend that you've not heard from in years. The noise is so familiar and comforting. I love hearing these new nuggets of noise and feeling like a part of this slightly insane puzzle.
I'll see you when the sun sets east, don't forget me.

x/x/2/0/1/3

Surely it has something to do with the date, right?

Right. He sent that vid out as a tweet to @TimeOutTokyoJP. I figure he is asking if they found any strange BOC material.

It's probably meaningless, but the dontdoshukudai YouTube account was created a week after the hellinterface's video was posted. Late August 2011.

I had never used that email to post YouTube videos so, it's brand new

Yeah, hmm I've been trying to reach out to sources in Japan, but maybe there aren't records there. I'm hopeful, I was really inspired by the possibility that this was a global thing, all inspired by Boards of Canada, I thought that would be so cool.

I guess all we can do is dig

Well now it's looking like there may not even be more records. We've already got two sets of 6 numbers and only one legit record has been found.

So with the second code out, this reaffirms my theory that there isn't necessarily six records. I think they're going to release each code in a different way honestly. The six records thing seems like a little bit of a stretch to me

EDIT: Someone just said exactly what I was going to say lol woops

My feeling is that the first record is just to kick it off, the beginning of a trail of clues!

I agree. Having 6 records out there waiting to be found and posted would be too unpredictable. I can't wait to see if each number is given out different ways. It looks like youtube is going to play a big part in this.
