There is the second code. They speculate that next is in the Trails -video.

Another note from the 2020k story. (http://2020k.wordpress.com/2013/04/20/b ... cords-day/)

The Little House on the Prairie stills are from an episode that aired in 1977, meaning there was a hint about the next clue actually in the revamped Julie and Candy video description:

1977/snow/computing/amateur footage/beards/synthesizer

Interestingly, the next clue we found was connected to 1977... so what could be connected to snow? There is some snow in the Trails video?
I'd like to know how it was determined what specific episode it was. 2020k says it's "Times of Change", aired 19 Sep 1977. But I checked imdb, and Kevin Hagen, whose name you can read quite clearly on the last frame, isn't included in the cast list for that episode.

Incorrect, that video is from lilcakey, the guy who found the NYC record, asking Japanese fans to look for another one like it. It was posted on his twitter feed.

Episode 69 'My Ellen'...

Look for more 1977 related things, people!

Well there's the 1977 Blizzard (covers 1977 and snow I guess)

and there's the Commodore CBM 2001 (Commodore PET) which came out, that is the computer featured in the liner notes for the Campfire Headphase. That would cover Computer

but I have no idea where this could lead... :\

Looking at the csch video from a film student's perspective ( ) :

The video consists of a Dynamic Db Range Monitor used to measure peaking levels. Now, from the beginning of the video right up until it cuts off, the camera slowly zooms in. It does not focus, because the depth of field remains the same the whole time. From the beginning, there are two distinct shapes on both sides of the Range Monitor, that slowly fade into the edges of the aspect ratio. I'm wondering what those two objects are (arms, legs, speakers...?).

Just another look at the video :)

Following up on Little House on the Prairie, I'm cross-checking all the names in the stills to try to find the specific episode. Cast credits change from season to season but this looks like the right one:

* Michael [Landon]
* Karen [Grassle]
* Melissa Gilbert
* Melissa Sue Anderson
* Lindsey Sidney Greenbush
* Richard Bull
* Jonathan Gilbert
* ??
* Patrick Labyorteaux
* Matthew Labyorteaux
* Kevin Hagen

Searching for them all together on IMDb narrows it down to 17 episodes, all of them between 1978 and 1980. It doesn't include "Times of Change" or any episode from 1977.

To my understanding Mike and Marcus began playing musical instruments and whatnot at a very young age. In 1977 they would have been 7 and 6 years old, respectively. They started messing with tape machines at age 10, it could be possible they messed around with a synthesizer before then. This might possibly be related to an event in their lives.

Of course I have no information that this is what it is, just speculating.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

What made you decide on that episode? Where did the 19 Sep 1977 date come from?

I didn't, someone in IRC figured that out. I just got a decent screenshot of the photo from the youtube video.

Uh, what is the connection between those two websites? They're both Chinese schools? You'll have to do better than that.

As far as I can tell from looking at the IRC log, they just latched on 1977 from the other video.

Yes, I know where csch comes from. But you just jumped from csch-nc.org to edinchineseschool.ik.org for no other reason than they're both Chinese schools? That's just grasping at straws.

i know :lol: but lets fire it all at the wall, somethings got to stick by the end of the month

its the only connection i can find with that word 'csch' though its not really about the user names i guess but the codes. perhaps the record went to Hong Kong instead of Tokyo?

Yes. I believe the September date was from the IRC. I'm not sure who said it, as information was coming in fast, but I can remove it from the 2020k page if it's not accurate. Regardless, it was aired in 1977. I did add a note on the page that says a citation is needed for the original date of air. Someone also commented here with the same date.
