oh man. ooooh man. that gave me chills to hear. Also bunnyRabbit is without a doubt on to something, there's no way the fact that they're both prime is a coincidence.

e; welp nvm, 717228

Just been googling the numbers we have so far. And while it's just an INCREDIBLE coincidence, I had to show you guys.

http://www.sciops.esa.int/sun_monitor/a ... /20120524/

If you search the Second number you get a picture of the sun, and note the URL :)

I still think a 6 x 6 grid is possible.

Code: Select all

7 1 7 2 2 8
9 3 6 5 5 7
Or:

Code: Select all

x x 7 9 x x
x x 1 3 x x
x x 7 6 x x
x x 2 5 x x
x x 2 5 x x
x x 8 7 x x

What about the URL? Sorry, I'm not seeing anything other than the obvious co-incidence here.

anyone think, rather than being super obscure, it could be something more obvious like...
d/d/m/m/y/y
y/y/y/y/m/m

etc...

the hardest things to find are right in front of your face.

Dear god, I hope that one is legit. I really want to hear something like that on the next album.

Maybe my hopes for a Geogaddi II will be fulfilled after all!
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

The bit I'm struggling to understand in all of this, is which twoism.org thread do I go to for the most up to date info?

I'm enjoying watching you guys take part in this virtual orienteering/ treasure hunt/ code cracking mission, but I know that if I try to take part my head may explode. So enjoy, and I'll enjoy watching. 8)

I think it's been debunked, posted on youtube, pulled and some glib twitter comments kind of hinted that it was just a prank but don't quote me on that, all is moving way fast. All I know is that the series you refer to is not so far considered legitimate. Plus the music really is completely non-BOC in the way they use shifting pitch etc, a strong departure from the two "official" numbers so far.

Yeah, I am a Geogaddi nutcase, I too wish for some more darkness! ;)

Well, I set this thread up to track ideas about decoding. So, anything about what the message might be and what the numbers represent. I called it Hut 6 because at Bletchley Park Hut 6 was one of eth huts where they did the actual decryption. The signal cam from the Y stations and the decrupts were translated in Hut 3.

What I'm saying is this thread should be focussed on what info we have on the code whereas the other threads can talk about things like finding records and what the bigger picture is.

Problem is things are moving so fast there's no time to read all the threads and calmly go the right one to post. People throw out ideas wherever they happen to be and info gets posted all over.

I'm starting to wonder if these numbers are a code at all. Maybe once the full string is revealed it'll act as a password to unlock a microsite where we can get a preview and/or release date for the new record.

That would be nice, their site is awfully dated, unless you want to go all instagram-like ;)

Speaking of Helios, isn't his namesake one of the bigger naysayers on here??? At the risk of sounding smug, it's all gone quiet from the 'BOC are finished' crew....
