Worth keeping an eye on just because it's Serafinowicz and Popper working together again, to be honest.

I wonder what happened to the Radio Spiritworld series they were working on? The one-off podcast was brilliant, and definitely on the level of Look Around You (find it if you're a fan who's not heard it, good and silly comedy with cool overtones of hauntology).[/i]

Corwood: the comment I made there was regarding Pete and Robert's old series, so it's not related to BOC in any way, just a coincidence (perhaps silly of me to have posted it in here - I should have had the foresight to avoid it!)

For an especially dark new album... First hidden messages, and now 'forbidden' notes!

Do you think we will need a single use pad to decipher the full code? They were used by spies to de-code the numbers broadcasted on number stations. You had to subtract the number station numbers from the ones on the pad to get the message then you had to dispose of it. I only found out about this through a number stations documentary on Radio 4:

Also, long time lurker etc.

grows old instantly damn, already?
His 'announcing' of a new album was just his repeating of the speculation regarding a new album surely being forthcoming rather than him having any knowledge, wasn't it? Did he say anything about it afterwards?
not sure if he said anything after that mention on the radio, but he did specifically say it was a double album, and coming out soon, it made it sound like he knew that much.

Didn't he say that a while after rumours going around here and elsewhere of a similar thing? I'm convinced that he knows as much (or as little) as the rest of us.
I'll see you when the sun sets east, don't forget me.

I would love it if this whole thing just went dead, I mean, think about it. All this cryptic kind of advertising isn't anything new, but it would be so in keeping with the band's somewhat haunting and enigmatic persona if it all just stopped. Just the four sets of integers and leave the last two hanging, maybe throw in a few more cryptic phrases or links to odd videos and such -- then just more silence. Then release it in stores worldwide without any mention of it; just wait for everyone to realize it's out.

That'd be some "three pigs, labeled 1 2 and 4" shit right there.

People would be talking it about it long after the album was even released, haha.

"Where is the rest of it?! Maybe somewhere in the album?"

Oh well, no code in that Serafinowicz video, it was still pretty funny though.

The chances of the code being in it were slim indeed, but would have been fun. If anyone's interested, here's a link to the video:

I wonder when we'll get the next piece of the puzzle?

Interesting that we haven't seen any new developments or heard from MDG (no shock) or even Joyrex in the last little bit...Silence indeed.

Waiting for the trolls to post copies of Magic Window on Youtube with codes in them - lulz.

Yeah, truthfully I knew this was real when the record was found and mdg was nowhere to be seen.

Has it been proven not to be BoC-related?

I watched it just now, and enjoyed it.

Some of the human replicas did have numbers at the end of their names, though. That would be MUCH too tenuous, though.

I might check it again later and count how many digits are alluded to in total from those names.

Only if they have started parodying themselves with cheap VST synths could this be BoC.

Someone posted this on the BOC subreddit, it captures how I feel right now pretty succinctly.
