Look up would probably mean the banner?Parameters wrote:His username, magickwindowis23rds, could be read as "the magic window is 23rd of S..."Mescaline wrote:Sorry if this has been covered or if I'm way off base, but here it goes.
I was thinking about the user magick and his posts.
His first and 2nd post contained links and subjects that were edited. I forget what exactly, but as it stands now his 1st posts subject is:
and the 2nd is BBBB
His 3rd post just states "look up"
and the 4th and last post was "this is a conversation..." with the subject also "..."
Im thinking 'look up' means, look 'up' in the thread, as in look at the older posts.
Perhaps the subject BBBB is relevant still? Something undiscovered perhaps?
The 4th posts "this is a conversation..." could mean all the recent posts after his 3rd are 'just a conversation' as in they are beside the point of what is supposed to be looked for?
September? Or more shenanigans?
The 6-number sequence as it stands

magickwindowis23rds's first two posts (now edited) were to the posts on Facebook of the spectral images of the A and B wavs (one of his posts linked to: http://goo.gl/t6ePs ).Mescaline wrote:Sorry if this has been covered or if I'm way off base, but here it goes.

The spectral images have nothing to do with the fifth clue. It was just an idea someone had to check for any hidden images in them, but there aren't. The A and B wavs just needed to be combined, not put through spectral analysis.
I think we have all the clues that are available now. I don't think there's anything else to find for now, I don't think we'll find the sixth clue from trying to read more into previous ones.
All week, there has been nothing in previous clues that have pointed to the next one. They've all been independent.
I think we won't have the the next clue until it's released, hopefully tonight.

seeing as we now have 3 consecutive numbers in the sequence, if there is a function between them it should be a lot easier to solveBunnyRabbit wrote:The count down and double digit theories have been blown by this latest number. And the co-ordinates have been completely debunked too.
Are we back to square one on decoding this thing?
I think that until we have the last number we can't do very much. We don't have to try and guess the next number (like those theories were trying) by constructing strange functions; instead we have to put our effort into trying to figure out how the last number will be shown, and where the fourth number has to be put in the sequence.BunnyRabbit wrote:The count down and double digit theories have been blown by this latest number. You're probably right. Wanted to check that we really had killed off all current lines of investigation on the numbers and I suppose make sure everyone else saw that.gjieck wrote:I think that until we have the last number we can't do very much. It just looks like they forgot to take out the header there and now you can see their directory structure.
It's legitimate to question whether this is a genuine part of the game or a slip-up because there's nothing cryptic about "Cosecha Teaser/TH Cosecha Numbers Station Trail/Cosecha Clue 2 for fans". So, it doesn't fit with what went before that they would just hide this blatant statement about teasing etc.
My guess is that it doesn't, meaning that they've included this "Cosecha Clue 2 for fans" stuff deliberately.

I'm not 100% sure that this is what this tick box is for. When you render the audio project (on mine anyway) it was defaulted to be unticked.
I tried exporting two .wavs, one with this ticked and one without, but I lack a decent ID3 tag viewer to see if the filename exported in the description.

I think it's pretty clear (from that Cosecha file info) that BOC are "broadcasting" their own numbers station.
So we have to wait for the 6th broadcast. and we have to wait for the pad. This is not about coordinates or hex values or anything else. It's a numbers station guys. It says so in the file path info for those .wav files.

Just open the file in notepad or something similar and check the first line.

That would be so fucking bad ass, BoC having their own number station.Alzado wrote:I think it's pretty clear (from that Cosecha file info) that BOC are "broadcasting" their own numbers station.
