Seems two or three other people posted about it on Reddit too, but they said it was the same number as the NPR broadcast. Another confirmation on 2020k that the number was 699742 again.

I just checked the Boards of Canada tag on Tumblr, and there were a few relevant posts.

So surely, something happened. I guess it was the same as the NPR broadcast, so maybe they're just trying to generate a buzz outside of the music sites and forums.

that was fun.. i honestly don't think i could have hung in there for this if it werent for being in a sleep deprived state starting before the weekend. i went way down the rabbit hole and took this way too seriously for a bit and laughed hard at myself. sorry if i offended anyone, but maybe i and we gave them a laugh at the least, if they're watching.
i think there are more locations in the video that will have to be visited first, but someone is going to find something out there and it's going to be great! cheers everyone

i came across this page for philip glass's north star, after googling cosecha 1977

first line is 'Un disquito cosecha 1977.'

not that i think this page is relevant, but the use of the word cosecha makes me think that the word could possibly be used as meaning 'release' or something similar, which could mean it's not the name of the album but merely the codename for the release preliminaries... but i don't speak spanish, i'm just assuming this sentence means 'an album released in 1977'.

Yes, but I was down some dark path about wondering if last night was 100% legit because it was just a Warp sticker and a re-broadcast of the NPR numbers, with the first digit in question (so I wondered if it was really part of the campaign, or just mind fuck). Like I said- I was letting the chaos get to me a little.
