That is one scary f'in picture of Maynard.

I remember the first time I saw him at a Lolapalooza in.. 92-94? Second stage.. had never heard TOOL, so I wandered over.

There was this insane looking, thoroughly intense guy heading up the band, screaming.. shirt off with that wickedly long hair, eyes rolled back in his head, veins about to explode.

Hooked ever since!

Michael Gira, [ex Swans] i interviewed him in 1997. A scary difficult guy, but great singer/songwriter/musician.
