I plan to make a really hot bath, turn the lights off, warm rag over my eyes and play the new music. Just sit back, soak and enjoy the music. Maybe smoke a little, but not enough to get high but enough to fully relax.

That being said, any BoC-heads in or around Berlin who want to meet up and go to a lake and have a fire before/after/whilst listening on endless repeat are gladly invited.
I'd be in for that! I've always hoped for some kind of listening party when the new album is out, but BoC don't seem to get much love here in Germany.
Last week, I briefly considered hitting up Hot Wax & B's other reputable record stores to check for Another Record... but somehow my doubt that I would find it amidst all the DJ Koze, Douglas Greed, Modeselektor and other homegrowns kept me home :-p

I think this city has...maybe enough?... of it's own electronic scene/lifestyle here that takes ENOUGH energy withour having to sit through more hours of dodgy beats and wobbly synth lines, distorted to hell.

Anyway- let's reconvene when we are sure there's DEFINATELY a new record to listen to.

I already have big plans, I'm gonna download it on iTunes first thing on the release morning, then go to a record store to pick up the hard copy, get a train out of town to the most remote location I can find with nature open fields and vast amounts of space to explore, I'm not going to listen to anything until I get out there (probably round the witch sites at Pendle hill in Lancashire).

I'm going to listen with headphones and get baked whilst admiring the view, then I'm gonna head home eat about 2-3g of shrooms and enjoy again on my KRK monitors whilst planet earth DVD runs with no sound

If anyone over in Lancashire wants to join me they're more than welcome, even if boc do tell us to beware the friendly stranger!

I would if I lived anywhere near you, lol. It's been difficult for me to find boomers, so bud will have to suffice. Then again, if this album isn't going to be released until later this summer, I might be in luck.

Haha well me and some friends gather them from the hill every year at the end of autumn and dry them out to last the rest of the year, I've got about 14g left from last harvest! was intending on taking them sooner cause other stuff comes about in summer but they're all being saved for BoC now.

Experiencing the album on Pendle hill (have a quick google of the location) is a no brainer for me, it's one of few places close to home where I feel rather connected with nature and my surroundings

This isn't just like any other album.

So I wouldn't treat it JUST LIKE any other album. Even when it does come out, I will still wait for the right time to listen to it all the way through. No specific conditions...though I will find the right time :)

If i have the patience, the first listen is going to take place in a forest near my parents house. My parents live quite far away from where I live so I hope that I can realize this.

In my new practice space in east downtown Houston with it on a large PA on 11, baked not fried. If I could find "good" e I would take one but that's not likely these days around here! Not been this geek for a release since waiting on the Verve's A Northern Soul back in 95!

Awesome, I'm under that hill right now! Unfortunately I'm back at Uni when the album drops, otherwise I'd totally do the same.. But BoC always makes me think of this place..

Will take a walk to Winter Hill, a lovely remote place just 10-15 minutes away from my house.

This video gives you an idea on how gorgeous the place is:
