i do believe it was an image on the myspace page.
polar sky had it as his avatar for quite some time.

This image (I believe) was in Warp's news letter featuring the announcement for Trans Canada Highway. At least that's where I remember seeing it first. I think BoC adapted it from some game show called Blockbusters. Now I am not sure if they took it from the show or if they were just influenced and made the logo themselves.

I'm considering getting a hexagon on either my inner wrist or upper forearm. Just the outline of one. What do you guys think? Also considering getting this:

I'm not too active around here any more but I finally got the BoC tattoo I wanted forever! Just wanted to post some pics so anyone who is thinking of getting this bad boy knows what's up.

Took about an hour, the white portion is not filled in, my skin was pasty enough :).

Done by Aaron at Keepsake Tattoo in Astoria, Oregon.

I'm afraid I'm not too much of a photographer, sorry for the poor quality.

Dude that is awesome, I've always wanted to get that. I just fear I am not a tattoo person really, I'd probably get it smaller, but still that is totally awesome!

Go for it man. I'v been contemplating getting a BoC related tattoo for some time now as well. Just not sure what to get. Might keep it simple and just get a smallish hexagon on my inner forearm or something.

It is a kinda cool esoteric message out to people 'in the know' - to many it would either just be a collection of hexagons, or a turquoise hexagon - seemingly innocuous/bland. But to those in the know, it would be an awesome nod to all the other fans out there in the Boccersphere 8)

Think im gonna get it!

Yeah, if i met someone with that tattoo i'd be like "holy shitballs that is awesome omergherd be my friend", but the majority might not understand. I guess that doesn't matter though, as long as it means something to you, it's worth it.

So I have been lurking, but finally decided to post. I have been wanting to get a BoC tattoo for a while now, and have really wanted it to be original. And because of this new found BoC hunt I finally know what I want. My idea is a DNA strand but where the Adenine/ Thymine and Guanine/Cytosine would be, I would replace it with the 6 digit codes and where the Sugar Phosphate backbone would be I would replace it with dark-ish green hexagons. What do you think?

I'd wait till we find out what the numbers actually mean before getting it. If this turns out to be Warp doing an elaborate Rickroll or something, you're going to have a great story to tell...

This summer I am getting a simple hexagon over my heart...so I know they'll always be "in my heart."

And eventually in the future I'm going to get "Aquarius." In Braille on my ribcage on the left side:

(Due to the fact that my horoscope is Aquarius, my love for that song, and my love for Skam records.

I do plan to wait, but it is hard to wait for me when I get a tattoo idea. I'm still having my tattoo friend draw it and play around with it. He wants to make sure that it does not look manly but not too girly. I'm a girl who is not into that hello kitty fairy crap but then again I don't want it to look like it was meant to be on a guy. And I do think it would have an awesome story behind it.

I met a guy with a turquoise hexagon tat on his bicep at the Oneohtrix Point Never gig in Glasgow last night. I shook that guy by the hand.
