The city looks fenced off to me, a decayed crumbling irradiated mausoleum. An embalm of man's folly and a warning to generations to come.
I must admit that I felt a chill as I first saw the album's title on the trailer. It took me back to my childhood cold war paranoia and the bleak hopelessness I felt watching Threads, The Day After and Edge of Darkness.

The album cover looks like an atomic mushroom cloud test in a desert imposed over a city sunset to me
A clearance in a wooded area, you startle a deer, it runs into the pines. Vast turquoise lakes and icy rivers, crisp mountain air. A bald eagle soars above. The distant sound of a chainsaw. Redwood smoke

Just thinking about how this whole album's campaign was done..
Numbers station-esque vignettes with an old-sounding call-sign, a computer system whose last login was 17 years ago.. Granted that radio and television were used a little too..
But even the scenes in the videos.. I get a really desolate feel from this. I'm excited. I mean, of course I'm excited.. Everyone's excited.
But I'm...
excited

Seriously though.....reserve STILL not met at 250 quid.....lilcakey wrote:can we please clarify that I did not list it for 5k? I wrote that in as the price and then wrote in the notes that 5k was arbitrary, and that I was just looking for offersGH wrote:Well he's listed it at 5 grand on discogskrs wrote: "Reserve not met."
What price have you set that at?
that panned out rather violently so I figured I'd just move it to ebay and let the net decide its value, the reserve is how much money I need for shipping costs
<3
What are you using to ship it, a RESURRECTED PEGASUS?

If they were to do it all over again to announce a live date, well.. I'd be alright with thatTheWundertones wrote:Hi,
Just joined this forum as i have been following it throughout the hunt. Just like to say i am glad that we've got this album coming shortly. But i can't help thinking that it's just....Not quite over yet?

I didn't mean this is THE photo they've used. But the location is a 100%.Tokamak wrote:Are you sure? The album cover just looks like a double exposure to me.chorus wrote:Anyone posted this?
Think we can conclude were the photo's from: Alameda Air Base - San Fran bay
Me too thinks the photo on the record is worked with quite a lot, maybe imposing two or several. But it's hard to tell before I have a higher resolution pic or better, the record in my hands. Vinyl that is
