Tomorrow's Harvest : Japanese Edition

Post by hexagon son »

So far as I know, iTunes Japan is giving it a June 5th release date. As of this time, iTunes is not listing any bonus tracks but does say this:
....Pre-order contents may change without notice....

I will try and keep up to date on this one.

I preordered the Japanese version (CD) on Amazon JP last night. Nothing showing there, and no indication of a bonus track on the Beat Records site either.. yet!

If you preordered from Warp, you'll PROBABLY get a digital copy even earlier than that regardless.

From memory, my experience when preordering Warp releases from Bleep is that they usually turn up on the Friday or Saturday of the previous week prior to a Monday release.

You will need to use a proxy service unless you know someone who is Japanese I think. Haven't read the fine print.

Interesting. The site loaded for me ok but it would not accept my password. I will have to use a proxy when I get back to my proper computer.

THANKS!

I might pick mine up from Tower Records on the 8th (Saturday) in Hiroshima. They'll probably give away some free stuff with it.

I hope that's true, because I preordered Silver Wilkinson a couple weeks ago, and I've yet to get any email in regards to some pre-order download.

I can't figure out how to order this from anywhere. Probably because I can't read Japanese :?

I don't think you will, TBH. It says MP3 DL available on release day. I, for one, am noy listening to this in MP3 for the first time! Garbage format for detail. If I decide to get mine on June 5th, I'm not sharing, nor will I be talking about it. If it has an extra track, that is all I'll mention.

I preordered TCH from hmv.co.jp because of the bonus track. It turned out to be a good move because Macquarie Ridge is one of the best tracks on the album, even though it cost over double the normal CD price including postage. This time round there doesn't seem much point, unless the track listings on all the Japanese sites are wrong (btw there is a button to display the site in English on both HMV and Amazon).

As far as the mp3 downloads are concerned, the Bleep site said the Exai ones would be available on the day of release, but they actually made them available quite a bit earlier (like a few weeks) and they were in high quality formats, so there's a chance that might happen again...

This kind of sucks because I want to support my local record store, but I also want high quality digital downloads weeks in advance. Oh the humanity!
