OK, so based on the info above then I think we can safely count out the last weekend in June and July. No problem

Equally, if we're not doing this as an album release thing then let's give ourselves a little space to arrange cash, holidays off work, transport - whatever - and go a little later on. How would the evening of Saturday 20th July sound to everyone? That's a clear eleven weekends and three pay days away!

Never let it be said I'm not good to you people

Regarding accommodation, I think it's best I'm up front straight away. I can't put anyone up, much as I'd love to. Depending on people's preference this will either be wild camping (with everything that entails) or getting a hotel / bed&breakfast. But be aware, this venue is relatively isolated.

Still, more details to follow...

It's in the diary mate. :D

Edit: All too believably, considering where my head is at right now, my diary was actually wrong. Latitude is the weekend of the 20th and I'm actually free on the 27th. Sorry. i don'y know whether I'm coming or going at the moment...

Dorset's somewhere I go a lot to just chill, and there's so many places I can think of fitting the hints of where you're planning on doing this thing. :) It's a magical place.

I didn't want to come across like that - I mean, if someone had offered to put me up I wouldn't have declined, but at the end of the day a lot of us have never met each other so perfectly understandable.

6th July is fine for me, but can I ask who else would be up for some wild camping? I've never done this before, so I'd like to join up with others to reduce the risk of possible death.

Hey, I assure you that comment about not putting anyone up wasn't aimed at you (or anyone else for that matter). I just want people to realise that this location is fairly isolated (about a mile or so's walk from a well known but equally small country village) and it'll either mean wild camping (and I'm up for that....I think.....!) or getting a room and potentially expensive cab ride. Either that or we're looking at dedicated drivers, which frankly, would suck.

But we're getting waaaaaay ahead of ourselves here!

For now, all we're talking about is dates and numbers. I'm putting together a little facebook account / page that will hold more details, including photos etc. That should go live over the next few days and then we can all get down to working out details and (inevitably) some people may find it's not for them.

But until then... stay tuned you crazy kids

Duly responded, thank you, and cheers for being so welcoming.

Pretty much any date's good for me, being in possession of a two year old monkey-toddler, so the chance of getting out enjoying a barbie, booze and some surreptitious summer camping is a fine fine one to me. Look, I even have to put up with her mad BoC dancing skillz: https://vine.co/v/bvtrpQBiAOp Sorry, couldn't resist sharing.

Replied too, however it still seems to be stuck in the outbox.

Very flexible and up for a pre-meet-up meet-up :D

Ha! This will make you chuckle. That was my wife, incognito, so she could contact MDG - get this - asking if BOC would play at our wedding!! She only told me a year later.

Bless her, I love her to bits

OK, so we're settling on Sat July 6th then. Going once......going twice......

Tonight's little update is that myself, Novayshun and Rikkiebags are hoping to head out to the venue this Sunday evening to give it the once over, compare notes on possible alternatives / backups and - frankly - probably have a pint in a local hostelry (it is the Twoism way after all).

Assuming the local Twoism committee is in agreement, we'll push the button on this whole shebang early next week. Facebook page, photos, details, the works.

Watch this space and stay frosty 8)
