tubular bells by mike oldfield. I think this type of music among others like pink floyd or brian eno, will be an inspiration for next boc release.

Just started listening to BoC remixes, and I am really enjoying them. Currently Last Walk Around Mirror Lake is my favorite, and I would totally blast Good Friday if it was an instrumental, but nooooo, there has to be swear words so I have to use headphones when people are around :/ Nevertheless, great stuff.

cLOUDDEAD - self-titled compilation

Perfect for a gloomy, cloudy day like this. Lo-fi samples and nonsensical lyrics galore

I'm a huge sonic youth fan. One of the first bands I ever went totally nuts over and had to have everything they ever put out and see them everytime they came around. When I was in junior high my mom actually came to the shows with me, bless her heart.

I listened to radiohead-amnesiac for the first time in awhile. I love them, but listening to them always stirs up uncomfortable emotions. Still really dig this album though.

Love seeing Sonic Youth mentioned here, and tracking down their catalog is impressive. I saw what wound up being one of the last shows. I don't have the words to describe it.

Amnesiac is so cool partly because it stirs up this reaction. That pair of records haunts me and it almost seems to be by design. I love that the end of the booklet instructs one to lose and then rediscover the record someday. They were also influenced by BoC at the time, which is what brought me there. They also introduced me to Clinic and Sigur Ros.
