I was on a nightly walk last month at around 4 am, listening to The Campfire Headphase, and some of the sun broke out from behind the forests during Peacock Tail. By turning around I could see how the night still had its hold of that side, with an unusually big and yellow full moon staring right back at me. It was mesmerizing to see both the sun and the moon, and the morning and the night, at the same time. I think April's the only month here in Finland when you can witness that.
Some summers back I had spent the whole night outside with my friend drinking and listening to music, and on the way back home we got this crazy idea to crash into the bushes next to us and just lie there staring at the beautiful blue morning sky. My friend put on Over the Horizon Radar, which gave me probably the widest smile I've ever had on my face. It was like a replica of the final scene in Lost where Jack lies on the ground, but unfortunately without the aeroplane part.
One of the things I greatly regret is that I haven't given Boards a thoughtful listen with weed. I've only got to try weed on two occasions, so that's partly why, but I did listen to Geogaddi on the second time. I just opted to chat with my friend at the computer instead of sinking into the sofa with the music, which was a pretty damn stupid decision, thinking backwards.
