It wasn't really hard to find all their stuff in the 90s. I got Bad Moon Rising and Confusion is Sex at a big record store in the mall. It was a different era, it's weird to think of now. Do they even have big record stores in malls anymore?

Most of the Sonic Youth CDs I own I picked up from HMV in the mid-00s (including the first SYR EP). They seem to only stock the more popular releases though, nowadays.

I was obsessed as a teenager and within a couple of years went on a buying spree.

Now that my music collection and tastes are now so massive, I kind of miss the days when I was sort of able to focus on just one band and really absorb their work. But then again, I can't really complain about having loads of cool music to listen to most of the time.

The albums aren't hard to find, unless we're talking vinyl, that is. But the EPs and collaborations and SYR releases are another story of course.
