Great stuff so far.

How about:

Selected Ambient Works 1 - Aphex Twin
Bytes - Black Dog
Kenny Larkin - Azimuth
Mark's Keyboard repair - Money Mark

Lifeforms and 76:14 absolutely fantastic choices.

If push came to shove i'd probably say Beck - Mellow Gold is my favoutie album of all time. Got a lot of amazing memories tied to that album. Nice to see it getting some love on here too. :) I saw Beck live in 95, gotta be one of my favoutie gigs I've been to.

These are neither better or worse than BoC, but the 90s were pretty special.

Beastie Boys - Check Your Head, Ill Communication and Hello Nasty
Plug - Drum & Bass For Pappa (and anything else Vibert released)
Cardiacs - Sing To God Parts 1&2
DJ Shadow - Endroducing
Brainiac - Hissing Prigs in Static Couture
Aphex Twin - Richard D James Album
Squarepusher - Feed Me Weird Things, Hard Normal Daddy and Music Is Rotted One Note.
Public Enemy - Fear Of A Black Planet
Coldcut - Let Us Play

I could rattle on about 90s hip hop all day tbh, Gravediggaz - Niggamortis, GZA - Liquid Swords, Raekwon - Only Built For Cuban Linx, Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus, Dr Octagon - Dr Octagonecologyst

It's a close call, because BoC is currently my favorite band but Feed Me Weird Things by Squarepusher was fantastic. I'm on both sides of the spectrum of music, from BoC and softer music to drum n bass stuff (read, Squarepusher and Venitan Snares kindof). I only recently got into Squarepusher, but damn he's good. SAW 85-92 is also really good, but that's Aphex Twin

Agree with many of the suggestions above, particularly Endtroducing, Loveless and Nevermind.

Honourable mention for an album that I listened to the most in the mid 90s: The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers. I was 15 or 16 when it came out and as an angry, anti-establishment, slightly depressed teenager that album was a perfect fit :P
