I suppose it's the only show that could get away with anything approaching left-field music while also boasting an audience in the millions. if you want it to be heard, there's no point putting it on 6music, sad as that is.

Yeah, very true. I just can't stand the man. Not that I've ever met him, but I sure a lot of people will know what I mean. If there's a radio rip of the track and it's got his voice over it, I'm not gonna listen.

I would rip it directly from the Radio 1 website, but their stream is in crappy WMA 128kbps...

zane seems like a perfectly reasonable dude. i rather him have a show and do what he does than not. is he john peel? no... but cut the guy some slack. who knows, he may be a member here... seems like a bit of an uber fan of boc...
