Given the Tokyo stream and Cold Earth at the festival, I'm thinking this is just going to be one more song played publicly.

I say 'just' one more song played pubicly as if that's a small thing but this entire thing has been fantastic. I'm seriously starting to think the album's been ready for a while, maybe even stretching back to the infamous black square appearing and this entire buildup thing has been almost 2 years in the planning.

do you seriously think they would drag people out to the middle of nowhere to play one song?

idk. Look at the equipment compared to the speakers, it seems way too out of proportion to me.

That's why I have the theory that the main idea is to record this, the speakers are just there for the fans who turned up. For 50 people, you don't need a 20bazillion kilowatt system...
