they had a 'tomarrows harvest' listening party at some abandoned waterpark in southern california i believe. somewhere in the desert out there.

bunch of people went, one guy called 'tonx' live streamed the first 3 or 4 tunes for us, but at BoC's request shut it off eventually

You can hear the first 3 and half tracks on his ustream. Be warned its on an iphone and not the best quality.

There was better equipment out there though. I'm sure we'll see that footage later on tonight.

The person announcing the album premiere stated "at Boards of Canada's request...."

You can hear it right before the album starts playing on the Ustream.
The preparation for a dive is always a tense time.

Did anybody else notice, in Tonx's recent tweet... the little clip he uploaded, all the dark grey clouds rolling in? Wow.

Kind of sounds like Beck, I did remember seeing something about the album being like some of their later remixes.
Don't be afraid to persist...

i don't believe the brothers were there....i'm assuming it was just a few people from warp who were running it. but the the people who were in charge asked that the listeners only record the first 3 songs, at the request of the brothers.

Image (via Veckatimest)

"...and “The Campfire Headphase” is pretty much an imaginary road trip in a rusty pick-up heading west through the brain."

I just can't even. Picking up where they left off, I suppose.

OMG OMG!! I knew I had seen that truck somewhere else before!!

Did you realise that the truck is the one that appeared in the fake posters of Boc that were sold on ebay a year ago or so?

What a suspicious coincidence...... :^ S

I am truly sorry for what I'm about to write, and SO MANY THANKS to Tonx for the exclusive, massive coverage of the gig, and all!! ... But Gemini still strike me as that Tron Legacy's tune, "Recognizer". Listen to the beginning of both.

I was able to resist, I heard a one ten second snippet live of I don't know what and disconnected it.

I shall listen to this with pristine ears.

What a trip for those who went however, I hope that on top of water bottles they get some promo cards of stuff, that would be grand :)
