[Fake] Transmisiones Ferox

I don't know if volscp is a fake, but it sounds like the description of Transmisiones Ferox: "Sounds a bit like The Orb circa-Ultraworld, with a throbbing bass pulse and a noise that could be described as being like a spaceship blasting off. Buried in the mix are scrambled radio frequencies, sonic dissonance and unintelligible female vocal samples."

I've always thought this volscp one sounded great. Been listening to it a lot. I think a lot of people instantly assumed it was fake due the vid. I don't know either way, but I would imagine someone at the listening party yesterday or the press would've already said it was this one already.

i dont know for sure, but "volscp" has Tycho's sound all over it... it was also originally discovered on his blog comments and then Ghostly International posted it on facebook.

but it clearly says "csch" with what's supposed to be the number sequence below it, so tycho created this track to promote TH?

I chimed in with a nay above. There was nothing that sounded that minimal. My specific notes on Transmiones Ferox had it having buried vocal snippets and a deep heartbeat like pulse.

I dunno, ask Tycho or email Ghostly about it. If anyone knows anything then they should be the first port of call... Be gentle though! - Whoever did put together the fake was probably just having a bit of fun on teh interwebz.

Definitely not from TH, but I won't say definitively if it's not BoC or some unused track during the TH sessions.

If I had to put money on it though, I'd say it's a well done fake. The tunes sound more like MhtRtC or Geo era BoC than TH, hence I think someone made this with their older albums as a reference point.

Dunno, I'd be a bit skeptical about the fun part to be honest. It might also be someone shapeshifting like a multicolored lizard. What an unhealthy period to live in.
