I'm sure they will be pretty set up financially from the release of this album alone, but I agree, it isn't like they are really old and over the hill. I don't see any reason to believe they won't continue making music for a long time to come.

I wonder what their hobbies are besides music....if its mainly music, the money will go towards more music equipment which means more temptation to create music which means more albums which means happy fans which means more money which means....the cycle continues.

They have mentioned that they are amateur film makers, my guess is that they probably work with Super 8 film and other old formats.

Most of their photos are taken in nature, my assumption is that they are also very avid campers (as am I).

could not agree any more harpoon dodger! i tracked down the CD later in college (i found most of it unlistenable/ too experimental - bought it just for this one track) but watched the entire series with my dad each week on PBS in 1979 when it first came out. we both looked forward to the opening sequence each episode. i recently bought the set on DVD for my unborn son, who i hope one day might appreciate it too.

nice to hear there are a lot of Blade Runner fans here.

Glad to see there's other Cosmos/Sagan fans on the board! Currently, I'd love to find the Vangelis Heaven & Hell album on vinyl...it would sound lovely. I need to get a hard copy of Cosmos one of these days...preferably on VHS, cos I'm such a nostalgic/backwards weirdo

Wish I was alive when Cosmos first aired, missed it by 8 years lol
