I do indeed very much love this piece of music, it is one of the first BoC tracks I ever heard, it got me hooked. I like that fan made video too, at the end it reminds me of me sat at work day dreaming of better things haha.

Forest moon is also really lovely. Words would not describe my excitement if BoC were to release some official version of Old tunes one / two / unheard stuff from the same era. It is these tunes that made me the fan I am today. If I could pay BoC for them I would so gladly.. Please release them :-)

I've never heard this track before, really moody.

(Big fan but obviously not big enough to have got round to this one. Guess at least that means I still have more surprises left?!)

This is one of my favorites from Old Tunes. For some reason, it is THE song that takes me back to visiting the Thousand Islands in the summer as a child, listening to the waves hit the dock and watching a weak (but good enough) signal from a major Canadian TV station (channel 26 or 27, something like that) with plenty of NFBOC and 80s Canadian childrens' programming. Those summers are probably a big influence on my love for BoC.

no shit! i visited the thousand islands when i was in elementary school with my family and i had a very familiar experience to yours. watching the signal of the french tv stations that came in from our tiny cabin in the woods by the river was a major formative experience for me and one of those essential childhood memories that boards always recall for me. crazy.

and yeah, this track is real good. i've listened to the old tunes a lot but this is one that i haven't really focused on much. my favorite will always be 5.9.78 though

That's awesome! Never thought I'd talk to anyone that felt like they "get it" for sort of the same reason. My grandparents had a cottage on Chaumont Bay - for a couple months every year from ages 5-15 or so, it was nice to have this very cool, slightly different feel to day to day life, all the way down to the TV programming. Everything felt just a little askew (in a good way) It really has stuck with me more than anything else from my childhood.

Big fan of 5.9.78 as well, but I guess everyone is!

guess with this plus TH (my new favorite album, yep) i will have to crumble and go for a top 10.

i regret nothing!
ya oirectine is also HUGE. lucky to score that vinyl back in the d's. wap100. big fave
I'm confused, it's Orange Romeda that appears on WAP100 (both the 3xLP and the promo 12"). As far as I'm aware, Oirectine has only ever appeared on the CD and LP releases of Twoism.
