not a collector nor am i a lawyer (and i personally don't have a stake in this), but does the bit on the cassette inserts that say something about "no unauthorized copying, lending, HIRING, or broadcasting of this recored work" ... have any meaning?

is 'hiring' a catch-all for 'selling' or does it mean something else altogether. just wondering if any of that jargon above was meant to curb this kind of thing from happening.
