Didn't they say recently that they wouldn't be surprised if Acid Memories gets leaked? I don't want to hear the old catalog on a shitty rip, I want the fucking box set, and I want it now! :x

Shit, I'll take a shitty rip over a cd quality any day. It's sounds better. The fuzz, the pops, the cracks. Good stuff.

If you notice, chaosmachine was not the one who said he had it, and his sample is fake. The song posted by Mr. Modular is also fake. Data Language systems, who was the one who started the thread, just posted "treeline". It really sounds like BOC, and if it's not, it's the best fake I've ever heard.

How very very odd! So, if this is indeed real, then it is plausible that some of their released material could be assembled from pieces of their older unreleased material. Of course, we're not sure if this is legit yet... but if it is... this is interesting and could be the conclusion to one of the many myths!

Sadly though, I like that fake version of treeline better. The one that's been floating around on soulseek for god knows how long. This is just to much like Sixtyniner.

I have not been able to find a watmm forum on soulseek. So keep us informed if these things surface.

I can't find one either and I'm running Soulseek and Soulseek Test... there's no WATMM room...

Argh! This is upsetting because I have nothing better to do with my time today!

Dudes, just right click on a room name, click 'create room', type in WATMM, and push enter. There.

edit - What do ya know, he posted 'godever' too. I still don't really believe it though.

Ah, thanks Radiateme.

Ok, so apparently the "real godever" is up on WATMM now. What do you guys think of this one?

It's... interesting...

As someone on WATMM said, the synth sounds like chinook, and the drums do sound pretty boc-ish. Have we finally found closes? I've never heard these fakes (if they are), unless he made them all, which I doubt.

This guy need to keep putting them up.

It's weird though, this stuff does kind of sound like BOC... but not near as much as those old tunes tapes... perhaps I am not yet convinced.

Yeah, I want to know where this guy got it from. He hasn't said anything other than he did not get it on soulseek. Also, pictures would be a plus.

*edit*

Forget what I said.

I *know* I've heard this version of Treeline somewhere before.

I have to admit, of all the files posted thus far at WATMM, Numerator Original is pretty convincing as being the real deal. If it is fake, then I want to know who did it and buy his album.

Treeline sounds like the Helios Cover of Sixtyniner with just the piano slowed down a bit.
