Actually, that one was already proven fake. It was put up by someone else. I forgot who. He admits to writting it. Check out that thread again.

2 new ones are up!

Now I'm REALLY skeptical...

We have a slowed down version of Mukinabaht labeled as True Map.

And A slowed down version of the Duffy Extract labeled as Close 1...

I'm guessing someone knows how to use time stretching here...

Since we haven't really heard anything to ORIGINAL yet, I'm starting to smell fish...

All these songs are running through this thread...

http://forum.watmm.com/index.php?showtopic=11331

Just gotta pick em out. That's all I can think of for now. He's put up several so far now. Watch out for the one that says Numerator (Original). It's a fake posted by someone else. Same with the version of Closes posted by Chaosmachine. Also fake...

the rest could be so far as well. I am getting very skeptical now.

Well the first few tracks are just stretched out versions of other tracks.....but, after hearing "Found The Way" I don't know what the fuck to think. It sounds like it could've easily been on old tunes. Fake or not, it's pretty fucking dope! :P

What tracks were they? And the attachments still work, so go into your history and find the links to the files! Please.

Wow, "Found the Way" is really good. It seems to have a number of BOC trademarks, even the little bit at the end that wraps the track up. If it isn't real, someone's done their homework.

Holy hell, I go away for a few days and come home to find this latest escapade. Sadly, I havent heard any of the aforementioned songs as the watmm boards are down.

could anyone PLEASE upload them to sendspace.com or something? Would make this man a happy happy camper.

Does anyone else find it odd that soon after these songs were posted to the WATMM board, the board goes down for no reason.

Coincidence? Or conspiracy? I would believe the latter. But of course, I am a fan boy, so I would. :)

so far I've got 7 alleged tracks from Closes Volume 1 thanks to "Data Language Systems" on WATMM

01 - Boards of Canada - treeline.mp3
02 - Boards of Canada - godever.mp3
03 - Boards of Canada - true map.mp3
04 - Boards of Canada - close1.mp3
06 - Boards of Canada - focus on a spiral.mp3
12 - Boards of Canada - found the way.mp3
17 - Boards of Canada - close4.mp3

And they all sound legit to me!

(btw: I also still have, from a long time ago, the track 'close3' which still sounds legit to me.. so that could make 8 legit tracks...)

PS: you can also follow the discussion over here: http://chaosmachine.net/watmm2/viewtopic.php?t=470

That one, to me, is very convincing.
