i really like this album, and i have a feeling i'm going to enjoy it even more on further listens. I'm pretty sure that's how i've felt with almost all of their releases though. i always like it at first, but i like it more after i have lived with it for awhile. each one of their releases ends up having context by how it has ended up soundtracking events in my life, and that's ultimately what makes their music so endearing to me.
if you didn't like this upon first listen i'd suggest the same thing i usually suggest to people who tell me they don't understand why i like boc so much. just live with their music for awhile.
i really didn't enjoy geogaddi the first time i heard it, even saying that now is a little embarassing, but now it's easily one of my all time favorite albums. i spent way too much money getting a vinyl copy of it, and nearly shit my pants when i found another copy for eight bucks in a local record store. i gave that copy to the guy who introduced me to them.
in other words, BEST FUCKING DAY OF 2013 THUS FAR. CAN I GET ANOTHER ONE OF

EDIT: Also, if you reaaaaally just don't like it. then i'm actually really super sorry, because i would hate to have waited this long and not enjoyed the material. straight up. that sucks.
