3 Impressions:
1) I should have brought my AKGs to work. These Apple earbuds didn't cut it. I could tell there was a lot of detail I was missing out on in the mix.
2) The album has a fleeting quality to it - songs get in, say what they have to say and get out. Not much lingering. That's OK.
3) It was awesome and I keep obsessively checking Bleep to see if they're going to drop the digital early.
Also - word to the wise (I think): I'm glad the album didn't seem 'catchy'. It sounds like it will sustain a lot of deep listening which is what I really wanted anyway. When I immediately and infectiously get attached to tracks I know they'll have a short half-life - I'll wear them out.
That said Jacquard Causeway is still ringing in my ears right now 2 hours later.

Seems like boards went for more of a movie sound track for sure. An album of death and future growth.

Any chance for one of these pm's? Already ordered two copies of the vinyl, would just love another listen. Either way, thanks
