I'm glad the reviewer didn't use the word "dubstep." It induces vomiting.

well....that was......harrowing. obviously the effects are dated now but it didn't really make it any less horrific tbh. it went further than I thought a bbc programme of that era would, and didn't pull any punches.

nice to see threads mentioned. i was pretty moved by that film long ago and actually made a record based on it back in 2006. It was called "A Nice Morning in Atomic Spring". cool to see it being referenced around the web once again.

Threads scared the crap out of me. When you see how whats left of us survives. Jeez I hope BoC dont think its gonna go that way!

Another super disturbing yet compelling doc from around that time is BBC QED's Guide to Nuclear Armageddon from 1982 (available on the box.bz) Pure facts and visual statistics of the outcome of a nuclear strike in London. Scary stuff. But the perfect accompaniment to Protect and Survive
