My bleep download is available too! I guess it's here for those of us who are down under, since the official release date is tomorrow. Can only download in 320kb/s though.

Currently downloading!

Lordy.
Okay, so the UK download will probably hit this weekend and the US will get theirs on Monday probably. I'm happy with the 256 JP itunes version until then I guess.

FWIW, bleep does officially say "17 previews available", though I can't preview them myself.. This is contrary to the "1 preview available" that it's said for the past couple of weeks.

A quarter of the way through my second listen (including the stream), and this has already become my favourite Boards record....

Ok, so I have the Flac's now as I needed to listen again and confirm that what I heard on the transmission was low quality and not just poor mixing ha. And this is just on shitty puter speakers but it sounds infinitely better than the stream with decent headphones. Instantly felt like a new piece! The drums shone and were more spread than initially thought and the synth were less muddy and nasal. This way the tracks popped out so much more. New seeds went by un noticed before but my, it's a banger.
I still can't compare this with past albums and to be honest I don't think anyone should. It's becoming a beautiful piece now.

I still only have a recording of the YouTube stream and I'm not going to torrent for HQ, because I have the Bleep preorder / mp3 downloads in 4 days ... last night I did my second listen and there were details I could just vaguely hear, but they were too obscured by the relatively low quality. Definitely waiting until the 10th to listen again

I've been told that Warp are keeping the delivery of hard copies to the shops back till tomorrow. This isn't a big deal, but the shops often have release for the following Monday by Thursday. In this case Warp are keeping it back as late as possible to keep everyone aligned.

For the record; I don't think it would be fair to the peeps keeping it real on vinyl and supporting their local and specialist retailers if Bleep busted out the downloads early. Just because it's leaking out all over place now it's not a reason to bring anything forward.

it hasn't leaked. it's been released.

The flacs/mp3s that are on the net are from legitimate downloads from Japanese iTunes and rips from legitimate copies of the cd bought in Japanese shops on the day of release.

In a bizarrely indirect but very vital way, I think TH is going to prove personally important to me. I think it's just helped salvage my relationship from a cliff edge. When certain music comes along at just the right time to help you clarify things in your mind it's a wonderful thing.

I meant leaking out of Japan, not being leaked. Perhaps I should have said seeping out.

They're not legit to people outside Japan! The argument seems to be "I can download it illegally: therefore release it now". No. You don't live in Japan, so you have to wait a few more days. Or, y'know, just get it illegally.

Here's a low-res photo of the Warp CD from a leak of it today:

The top reads "I OVERFLOW MAN", the same as the Beat Records release.

Has anyone received their vinyl pre-orders yet?

My friend owns a record store in Toronto and they just received their stock of the records (and are currently selling them!!) I'm so tempted to just go buy another copy.

If anyone is in Toronto and wants a copy, you can get them in stores now. I imagine it's the same for a lot of North American shops today.
