How clean is your studio?

Ps. Im particularly intrigued by the grey box with all the sliders beside the jem. What is that ?
Did you build the desk or have it purpose built ?

That's a Jen SX1000, and well spotted on the SH101 in the corner.
Above that is my recently acquired Polysix, and the grey box is a Novation KS Rack.

The desk is just an ordinary office desk which I heavily modified myself a few years ago, by building it up and extending it with wooden panels.

The monitors are passive Tannoy reveals, which I must have at least 15 years now.

That's a really nice setup man. Impressive! Very cool gear, was wondering if you could tell me what rackmount gear you have there. And also..is that an IBM mechanical keyboard?? If so..jealous/kudos :roll:

I will try and post some pics of my recording space when I have some time!

Afraid it's merely a cheap copy

was wondering if you could tell me what rackmount gear you have there.

The rack gear is very basic, a couple of valve compressors, power amp and a couple of patchbays.

My bedroom studio. Lovin my Slim Phatty, but would love a non rackmounted! Currently raising money for a Prophet 12 or 8. Also need some monitors, currently mastering on some Sennheisers :oops:

I'm married with a wife who borders on OCD at times. My 'studio' if you could call it such consists of a pair of BOSE headphones, FL Studio 10, and an AKAI mpk49, usually with either a full cup of coffee, fruit juice, or wine next to it depending on the time of day. Occasionally there's a cat on the keyboard.

In terms of cleanliness, if I let it get too messy, I come home and find it organized after work. Which is convenient for me.

If your studio doesn't look like this 80% of the time, you're too busy cleaning and not making music.

It is! 6 output channels which I haven't found use for, except that six people can listen to the same tape at once. The outputs are amazingly correct though, and looks cool as fuck to boot. One thing that sucks about it is it records just a tad slower then it plays...but wheres the fun in a 100% correct working deck anyway.

Now that I think about it, I can run 6 different effect channels...hmmm....
