And it's making a lot of sense so far. Then again I'm really high
Man. That's a whole new level. Awesome.

lol, on reading that bit of the interview the first phrase that went through my head was "we're gonna f*** you up lebowski!"nordheim wrote:"vee bleeive in notinng, levowzki!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5J_kao6mwAAerial Boundaries wrote:Caution here. Anyway, very interesting interview which confirmed what some people have been speculating.
Better than that - Bocpages gets a mention!!Aimo wrote:

"To the uninitiated, Tomorrow's Harvest could seem like a low-key kind of "event" album. It obeys its own private rules and, despite giving dubstep the occasional polite nod of acknowledgement, deepens rather than broadens the duo's existing sound."Twoist wrote:Better than that - Bocpages gets a mention!!Aimo wrote:

I also had this feeling during the stream play when tracks Come to Dust and Semena Mertvykh were played, but didn't pay much attention to that so far. Now after reading the interview it gives another look...rainier wrote:I saw someone mention last night that all the songs had "twin" on the album. Really nice catch.

The degree of obsessive analysis and theorising on the fan forum Bocpages.org/wiki would shame a Talmudic scholar.
Based on the context of the sentence they use, I kind of think they meant to say Twoism....Not much speculation goes on on bocpages, it's all facts (as far as we know). Still great it got a mention though.Twoist wrote:Better than that - Bocpages gets a mention!!Aimo wrote:

V good point. Sent a tweet to Louis Pattison (the interviewer) to point that out.Ender wrote: Based on the context of the sentence they use, I kind of think they meant to say Twoism....Not much speculation goes on on bocpages, it's all facts (as far as we know). Still great it got a mention though.
Yeah, WTF was that.... How could anyone in their right mind say TCH was disappointing. Everyone has their own opinions, sure, but damn, that album is impeccable, lush and beautiful. I find it impossible to hear otherwise.todieisfun wrote:breaks my heart that they said it was "disappointing"breadmaker wrote:i stopped reading after "2005's disappointing The Campfire Headphase"Aimo wrote:Great interview - loved reading it this evening, and already it gives a whole other angle at which to take the album.

i thought that bit was spot on. it was a huge disappointment for a lot of people, myself included. even of those who weren't disappointed, most probably wouldn't rank it higher than their other albums.breadmaker wrote:i stopped reading after "2005's disappointing The Campfire Headphase"Aimo wrote:Great interview - loved reading it this evening, and already it gives a whole other angle at which to take the album.

given the use of the word "obsessive" i'm not sure the mention is meant to be *entirely* complimentary . . .Twoist wrote:Better than that - Bocpages gets a mention!!Aimo wrote:

well . . . it's an opinion that's stated rather definitively, as though the album was universally disappointing, which is far from the truth (see here: http://www.metacritic.com/music/the-cam ... -of-canada for example.) but this is a common journalistic conceit that i've noticed in reviews - the tendency to re-write history and tarnish an artist's previous work to make their new release more triumphant. it makes for a more interesting article, i guess. you've seen it before, no doubt: "after so-and-so's dismal last album, this new effort is a breath of fresh air" (etc etc.) at which point i usually think "oh, were we not supposed to like that last album? i had no idea."DisgruntledPorcupine wrote:Yeah I hate when opinionated articles contain opinions too.breadmaker wrote:i stopped reading after "2005's disappointing The Campfire Headphase"Aimo wrote:Great interview - loved reading it this evening, and already it gives a whole other angle at which to take the album.
