This description sounds intriguing. I have a really bad version of this track that sounds twinkly with an 8 bit style electro beat and a few dark analogue synths but it couldn't be the same one!

That's exactly what I thought - I could easily see House of Abin'adab being an early version of Circle.

Yes I've read this, I was just curious as to where I might be able to find these extracts, because through my voyages across the interwebs I have not crossed paths with them.

The 'circle' extract is just some 12 second thing looped 3 times.
It could easily be a hoax. It just sounds wrong to me.

Hoax? If you're actually listening to the "real one" (there are even some fake extracts - sad) I can remember listening to it in .RM format directly from the official site when it was still posted, so it's definitely real, for whatever my word is worth. I'm sure other people who listened back then remember the same thing. Like it's been mentioned the real one sounds sort of like House of Abin'adab, if it was recorded in the middle of a blizzard.

To be honest all 3 of the original website samples sound dodgy.
I mean they dont come close to anything on the old tunes collections.
Ok so the 'circle' extract might resemble the House of Abin'adab track but to me
it just doesnt sound as convincing. I mean its pretty shite really. Like i said its just a 12 second loop.

The 'Wouldnt you like to be free?' sort of resembles some of the tunes from OTV1 but
again the comparison ends there because the 'old tunes' tracks are much better.

Im not saying they were not on the website. Im just saying they sound poor. As if they are fakes.
