maybe Lake Dolores was a scouting location test for the real deal ...
while i would never rule it out, based on the past the likelihood of a world tour isn't too likely.

i prefer even a just few dates for the lucky few who can make it to wherever that might be, but i think the most equitable solution would be a live streamed event of BOC perhaps playing for an intimate gathering of old friends and family (or however they like to frame it), so the whole world gets to be part at one time, no one is excluded, you have no excuse if you miss.

pay per view it or whatever - i'd sign up today.
just a thought.

He has to be referring to 1:24. That second of sound is the best part of the entire song! Ok, maybe he doesn't have to be, but that second is still insanely good.

Wow, that's not brilliant at all; it smacks of pettiness. This really isn't difficult.

So then, how about, as it IS, at this present moment in my life, not ruling out any alterations to my perception of TCH further in life, the album IS boring. MHTRTC>Geogaddi>TCH - some are clearly better than others, in my humble opinion.

i'm being a dick for taking this further but nah... when someone phrases something as "2005's disappointing Campfire Headphase* there isn't an implication of *in their opinion they were disappointed by the album* there is an implication of *upon the release of this album disappointment was ubiquitous*.

i'm talking in circles here but there are literally hundreds of posts on twoism.org sticking albums into things like this < > > = > > and its crazy to do with a band like this. that's all i was trying to hint at with my long post. i truly think its better and more interesting when people having contrasting views of the records but its lame to speak of one specific record as the "flawed one" or the "clearly disappointing one of the bunch".

but that's just like........ my opinion man.

It actually flows really well....absurdedly well IMO but I'd like to hear what you guys think. Not that there is anything wrong with the original track order at all but some of the transitions are a bit jarring and in my order it's not at all the case

Like I said though I'm not implying these tracks are paired up to their sister tracks but its interesting to say the least.

im not smart enough to put the songs in order of the fibonacci sequence lol

all i did was pair them off based off the comment in the guardian interview where come to dust is referred to as a reprise of RFTD

it works out well though

Came here to post this quote. Definitely my favorite part of the interview. This is why I care so much about their music. I like to think that if I was a career musician, I would put similar effort into my music / gear.

It just so happens that my favorite sound in the entire album is as at 1:23-4 and only ever occurs that once. The counting voice does indeed kick ass. Cold earth is turning into one of my more repeated listens thanks to its oddities.

I would think several gigs in major cities in both the UK & US would be ideal. Fairly certain most of us would drive or if necessary fly to a gig if it were close enough? By the way, Los Angeles is rabid for a gig.

No dice! Live events have tried and failed to use this space. Definitely going with LA, or surrounding deserts.
