I'm writing this on my brand new shiny macbook. If i loved it any more it would probably be illegal. No more having to wait to go into work to check out silly videos on youtube!

If you are looking to buy a PC laptop, Rock Direct is the way forward if you're based in the U.K.
Each machine has the best components inside it, you get what you pay for and should you have any problems follow up service is great.

thanks guys. you see i have my old gateway pc from 1997/8. its old. i want to keep this as am going to do a pc repair course. but i want a new laptop without getting ripped off (dell) or a new desktop that i would just really use for interneting and musicing. elair.ie are good, but there prices go up real fast. say my limit is 700 of the finest golden euros.
that rock direct is a bit out of my legue. Apple are great and would love one (maybe later in life) but i need a IBM pc for the course.
cheers guys.
