I don't think anybody's complaining about not getting free stuff from Bleep so much.

I think the main bone of contention is that people who bought somewhere other than the label's main online outlet were rewarded, which whatever way you look at it is a disincentive to purchase from Bleep in the future.
THIS.

You hit the nail on the head bud.

Don't get me wrong. I am so stoked that this day has arrived.

I just stupidly thought, that those of us who absurdly bust our nuts trying to work out the trail of clues left for us by the gents would at least, get a wee something extra for getting in there early. You know, like a reason to build intensity up like that.

Yet here we sit, the other way round.......with people who sat it out and just walked into a record shop getting handed stickers, posters......

Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but if you think this is NOT a big deal, then you obviously have not tried to source this stuff afterwards.

So the moral of the story is......take nothing to do with the hype or lead up to the release and get rewarded for it.

Now where's my download?
IT'S HERE.

No stickers, extra stuff etc.

But where do I download my MP3s? The profile mentions only "Reach for the Dead"

Any chance this was dispatched before yesterday's notice? Just wondering if the U.S. folk have to wait until god-knows-when (7-28 days!) for the vinyl.

The reasons to move back to the UK just keep piling on.

Not me, but I've had similar things happen to me in the past so I know how frustrating it can be, particularly when there's no one else to feel your pain and only others talking about how much they're enjoying their new music on vinyl. Did you not get a free download of Reach for the Dead either? When did you pre-order? If you were one of the first people to make a purchase then I'd definitely email Bleep about it now and see what's up. It might arrive within the next couple of days anyway, but if it doesn't, you might get a response in that timeframe.

Thanks for writing back. I did get an email about RFTD download and I was within the first few hours of pre-orders, yeah.

I'm in a slightly weird situation atm, actually: I'm in Colombia (still for a coupla' months), but the record (and cd, and t-shirt) are being delivered to my address in the UK. My iPod recently broke down, so I'm torn between buying a new mp3 player and having the album as my soundtrack to last coupla months in this part of the world, OR waiting till I return and checking it out first on a good soundsystem.

....but I think I won't be able to resist mp3ing it and getting a new player :)

Will take your advice and email Bleep - thanks!

Bleep doesn't give any kind of tracking numbers right? I just noticed it says 'despatch' for me, but no sign of a tracking number anywhere. I was out all day and didn't get home till late at night and I don't see a package anywhere and I'm kind of paranoid it got stolen or something. Does the status change when it's arrived?

No it will still say dispatched. I've recently ordered 2 tee-shirts and they have arrived and the order status is the same.

I'm not in Wiltshire myself - just close enough to be able to take advantage of the amazing scenery whenever the need takes me
