I heard Bleep was going to use a US-based warehouse for US Tomorrow's Harvest preorders.
Yeah, I remember their site saying it would be 'shipped via a tracked service in the US'.... am I missing something? No tracking, nothing... It is taking some serious convincing for me to not bite the bullet and just order the 24bit wavs...
but they sent me two shirts and a pack of nightmare on wax rolling papers which i proceeded to roll and spark a healthy-sized DuBois with and listen to Wildlife Analysis
First time I've ordered from them. Also, the last time I will order from them. Zero bonus for jumping on the pre-order within the first hour, no tracking on their shipments, and up to 28 days for the "rest of the world." Terrible.
Usually 2 weeks after release date for me with bleep. I only ordered from them because I thought there might be freebies but doesn't look like it. I ordered a copy from amazon too and that will probably get here Tuesday though.

seems a bit stingy they haven't looked after their preorder customers and
used other promotional material to entice those still waiting to do 2 things:
1. buy it again from indie store as it hasnt arrived and 2. in doing so claim posters and what not from the indie stores
they wouldn't of done this 8 years back, in fact, they did the opposite! guess thats where massive exposure with a big selling album can sometimes lead you - cockiness.
they're only stickers, posters etc but they know fans want these things. not even a postcard etc.
i don't like this crap Bleep are doing. that it may come back to bite them hard, what goes around comes around, always my friends.
Yeah I would have much preferred to support my local indie but now I know. I was all caught up in the heat of the moment though. I remember furiously trying to get bleep to load, all high on the promise of new boc.

This. Luckily the new Deafheaven comes out on tuesday as well, so I'll buy it from my local shop. I'm going to feel like quite the twat just passing by all of the Boards of Canada LP's on the shelf, though.

some stores may give out the stuff without buying it again or if you suggest buying another Warp release. i'd imagine a lot will be strict with their supply though which is fair too. many bleep customers now have multiple copies of TH, well done Bleep!
Last time I ordered from Bleep was 2006 or so for TCH and the Dayvan Cowboy video CD bonus or whatever it was. Back then, stuff tended to come a few days early with some stickers or other goodies, but it could be a totally different game now.
Yeah I might stop by the store to ask about posters or anything like that. I actually haven't been able to find any boc fans in my area, I might actually be the only one around here who wants them anyway.

I've ordered a ton from Bleep in the past, cd's, vinyl, everything and for all pre-order's I've received my items on or before the official release date.
I'll be very, very surprised if my TH order doesn't arrive tomorrow.
I've ordered before...a vinyl. It did take a bit, but arrived very safely. My copy of the BoC album has "Dispatched" but I do not see a tracking ID anywhere, sadly. Waiting patiently, digitally downloaded already.
I've ordered vinyl from them a number of times and things have always come less than a week after being despatched. things might be a bit slower with the enormous volume of boc orders, tho
