Well, Gideon Coe is on now and has played New Seeds with reference to the correct title - which was nice.
However IIRC he's mentioned playing two other tracks different to Stuart's show, this evening - but, referenced yesterday's play of New Seeds as 'Sick Times' again, indicating the playlist log hasn't been amended - this would indicate Sick Times (the actual track) will probably be skipped over.

I apologise - I didn't mean to label it crazy in a derogatory way - all free jazz is pretty crazy by nature! Admittedly I haven't listened to much before. I did recognise the 'Ghosts' song by the aforementioned artist but I seem to remember Stuart saying it was a track by Wolf People? Was it cover or am I just remembering wrong?mucephei wrote:Oi! That's Albert Ayler you're talking about and his seminal Spiritual Unity LP.Yeah That's Right wrote: I've missed most of this one but I'll play it back later. Right now what I'm hearing is crazy free jazz.
And he played the Picture Box theme too! (Maconie, not Ayler I mean)
I emailed Gideon at 6 Music and mentioned the mix-up and he read it out on air. Fame, eh?Rikkiebags wrote:If you look at the (I assume) auto-generated playlist for yesterday's show, it does indeed say Sick Times instead of New Seeds, so they've definitely got a bit confuddled.
