Anyone from US ordered from bleep in the past?

I really hate being the "disgruntled consumer" and acting accordingly ...
but, yeah; I don't think I'll be ordering from them ever again. Kind of feels like a slap in the face in many ways. I thought "Wow, this is the most legitimate and direct way to order from BoC" but now it just kind of feels lame

I've had great luck in the past. I used to live in the midwest though now I'm in remote northern california. So I've only ordered a few items at my new residence however I got a bibio single I ordered within 10 days or something. I'm a bit amazed that his album hasn't shown up yet when \it was dispatched I'm sure a few days previous to may 13th.
I pre-ordered Exai CD earlier this year. It came day prior to release and with a couple of stickers (bonus!). I was very happy. I'm not expecting stickers with TH from what I'm hearing, which is fine. Hopefully it comes Monday.
Yeah, though. It would be nice if there was a little something extra. I know whenever I order from Thrill Jockey there is always some kind of poster in there. I got a Nobukazu Takemura "10th" poster and a Tortoise "Beacons of Ancestorship" poster which now grace my music room walls. Minimal Wave label has included mini posters or postcards. Seems friggin' hard to get a good BOC poster without paying for one. My usual method was tearing one off the wall of the venue when I go to see 'em live, but that's not gonna happen for BOC.

I've ordered from them in the past and they have always been good and fair to me. I got the Burial & Four tet - nova vinyl from them and when it had a skip in it, they replaced it. They threw me some stickers with my copy of exai which came a day early. I also bought the warp20 boxset and shirt and it arrived punctually. I don't see why everyone is complaining really. So what if you didn't get a bonus with what you payed for. At least you'll get what you payed for. It's not like the record stores had official goodies to give out anyways. If they did it was more of a under the counter type deal, its not like BoC were making money off of those stickers and posters. Just be glad there is even an album here at all.
There were drones..

USPS restructured a bit at the start of the year. Tracking is now free for Regular Post (first class dropped to 13oz or less--which this is not) and Priority. The tracking is somewhere--if it does not arrive the tracking information should be associated with your order. Might take an inquiry to nab it.KINGofCRA5H wrote:Yeah, I remember their site saying it would be 'shipped via a tracked service in the US'.... am I missing something? No tracking, nothing... It is taking some serious convincing for me to not bite the bullet and just order the 24bit wavs...Vostok wrote:
I heard Bleep was going to use a US-based warehouse for US Tomorrow's Harvest preorders.
Not that the Post Office will be of any help if they lost it somewhere.

Getting the goods to Canada just one day after release, I'm impressed and pleased!
Don't get me wrong I am happy for you!
But I haven't received mine and...I live in France!
Deffo the first and last time I am buying from them.
(not to mention the fact that no freebies are coming along with Bleep's order)

Seriously it should be there any time now, I don't believe it should take that long, unless the international shipping was in a separate warehouse and dispatched earlier to get there roughly in time whereas the more "local" distribution has to dribble out through the regular ground mail system?

Perso, I always blame Sarko for anything anyways!
This said, I am truly disappointed with Bleep as I usually get my Discogs order faster than this!
Plus, now knowing how all the thing went, I'd rather support an indie store which is much needed!
Period.
Now off to some J. Causeway!
