Yes, just saw that. RA is the only music blog/mag I bother with these days. Their weekly podcasts are great. James Holden this week.

Damn, I was using your chronological order as a means of telling which ones I'd read already :)

The sole negative review I've seen so far is at Tiny Mix Tapes.

I dig that they see it differently and in their own way to be honest, much as I am not of the same opinion. I think with time (and revelation) the album will only get better, but I completely understand how in its current order it might feel incomplete or lacking in some way (although this review is ridiculously OTT about it and unclear in its criticisms).

Unsure if this has already been seen, but the Wire review isn't bad. (if someone could upload the image scan to a permanent location it would be great).

And the same reviewer gave OPN's Replica 5/5... hmmm :?

I like Replica, it's a pretty good album. But if Dan Lopatin had come out with Tomorrow's Harvest, I'd easily rate it higher.

Other than that, I didn't bother reading the review. Apparently Reed Scott Reid (douchiest name ever btw) is full of shit.

Rather sad that his last comment seemingly shows his true colours, the comment about "surely it will sell millions". I guess maybe he's only into stuff that sells 10 copies or something?

Serafinowicz re-tweeted this yesterday.

I'm not sure what you call it, but it's kind of a review by Limmy.

Not sure why this URL works for me, but..

"Despite its futuristic name, Tomorrow’s Harvest echoes previous eras of electronic music: Harmonia’s space symphonies, John Carpenter’s tense synth soundtracks, The Orb’s ambient pastoralism. But above all its warped chimes and eerie washes of sound look back at earlier Boards of Canada albums: the precarious keyboard melody in “Nothing Is Real” sounds as if it has been spliced from the Scottish duo’s 1998 debut album Music Has the Right to Children. The result gives their first record in eight years a looped, ghostly quality, as though the history of electronic music ended with themselves." (three out of five stars)

Jeez that Tiny Mix Tapes review is possibly the most poorly written piece of crap I've seen in a long time. The writer is entitled to his/her opinion, but please drop the pseudo-literary blab-crap style.
“The most exquisite paradox… as soon as you give it all up, you can have it all. As long as you want power, you can't have it. The minute you don't want power, you'll have more than you ever dreamed possible.”
