Hmmm, I listened to this a few days ago and I'm still not sure what to think. :? It has potential, but probably just needs some time to grow on me. I was kind of dissapointed seeing there's like 28 tracks or something like that on the album. That means most are probably even shorter than this one. I have the rest of their catalog, and I will be buying this one as well.

I'm sorry bro.. I get sick and tired of people who post double posts and even more when it's in the wrong section! It was also written in caps by a member who isn't new to the board and know how things go around here.
That's the reason why I deleted it without taking care of the content.

^^no worries Ae (here's the page: www.attacknine.com/hwds )

Well I finally got my cd on Saturday; to me, it's their best album yet. It's not as "drowsy" sounding as their other ones -for which i had to be in a special kind of mood to enjoy-.

So basically, this one has a kind of horror movie/comic book theme and it's more upbeat than their previous ones.

I'm lovin this right off the bat. The vibe is like twisted opera music from the 1800's done the Freesha way. The track titles are great too, and fit perfectly with the music.

FREESCHA
Head Warlock Double Stare
(Attacknine)

I dig the title but I'm not really sure how it relates to the record at hand. As trippy as the San Fernando Valley duo's electronica gets, it's far from scary. This ain't the kind of music that fuels a bad trip. If anything, I can feel the California sun shining through the rainbow-hued clouds of warbled synthesizers and undulating piano melodies that sound like they were recorded at the bottom of the ocean. Often, it's far too playful to be haunting, like Mr. Aphex scoring music for an adults-only episode of Teletubbies . Or how about the vocodered "Humping for Dummies," which sounds like Boards of Canada trying put a little downtempoed electro-funk in their trunk? Overall, things seem a bit more fractured than 03's What's Come Inside You , the duo resorting back to shorter tracks where songs aren't necessarily built around traditional "pop" arrangements. File under: Not-quite-so easy-listening for the chill-out room. [GH]

At first I didn't order it because I've spend way too much on music lately.. but I really like the album so I ordered the other day.

It's a beauty (their best)

I'm really digging "Chasm Night".

To me, this album is Freescha finally waking up and putting some energy in their music.

Just checked this out. Absolutely amazing! I can tell this is gonna be one of my favorites.

I love music that sounds like it's dying of some illness! This is just that!
