I know...to tell you the truth, I feel downright cheated...I'm guessing you were there too, typing in that huge 36 digit code, waiting for the video to end to pre order it...maybe had to refresh the page for about an hour or three...and here we are on the release date with some mp3s and no CD/Vinyl/whatever...I can deal with the record store poster bonuses and everything but this I wasn't expecting.

TL;DR I mad

That being said, Tomorrow's Harvest still surpassed my greatest expectations.

Yep. I was refreshing the shit out of the site right after the news- took an hour to get the order to go through. I'm pleased with the digital files (was a nice touch to get the WAV/FLACs). But I want to hold the thing (the album:).

This whole thing just really turned me off of Bleep. I rarely pre-order anything, so I'm a little let down. Oh well, at least I have the digital files! (Trying to look on the bright side of life.)

I usually never pre order myself, and I've only went through Bleep for digital download codes before. Having the WAV/FLAC is really what held me together today. I was just prepared to fully form my opinion after hearing the vinyl today. I doubt I'll ever use Bleep again. I hate saying it but Amazon is probably the only reliable option.

I hoping if BoC does an EP for this album (possibly an EP for Reach for the Dead like some people think), maybe they'll compensate the late (or all) pre orders with letting us get access first. Either way, I feel bad whining about it since I should just feel lucky this album happened at all. I guess I'll try to look on the bright side too.

28 days is still ridiculous though. That's not a pre order, that's holding it for ransom. I won't wait any longer than a week before I go out and find it myself, but that's just me.

Been plugging away at work but have realized mine didn't make it. Not like LA is out in the sticks. Bummer. Not that I was going to open it. Might be a good excuse to head to Amoeba and get another copy.

Do that. I'd be lucky if I ever even got to step into Amoeba's parking lot.

This is not really the point!

I am talking about paid service.
And also the fact that Bleep obviously knew the fans would have been the first ones pre-ordering, otherwise what would have been the purpose of all the codes/treasure hunt!? Bleep said they were aiming for the record to arrive "in hands" on the release date...sorry, but my order got despatched the Friday before, then I got an email warning that the shipping could take up to 14 days!! Not my definition for an "on time" service! Plus, now that I realize this crappy situation i feel fooled for two main reasons:
1 - I have ordered two copies that are still not in my hands after the release date.
2 - The money could have gone to support an indie record store (which is actually much needed) where they would give me a poster/sticker with my copy (which apparently Bleep won't do for us!)

Still, I agree...thanx for the wavs...but this was a last shot for me!

(now enjoy the music)

We love you all.

This. With the exception of mine might take 28 days instead of 14. With as tightly put together as the whole marketing campaign was, Bleep's handling of the pre orders has put a bit of a damper on things for quite a few people, especially people who waited until release date to hear it. I wasn't one of those people, but I imagine they feel like idiots.

I've listened to the WAVs of Telepath and Sick Times hundreds of times so I don't even give a f about my vinyl not coming until the 17th.

I would have worn a hole from the top of the Telepath track to Shanghai by now so it's probably a good thing.

I just hope it comes today. Guess I'll be fooled again when I get home. They even sent an email thast for my region it could be 14 days late. How fucked up is that.

This in combination with not getting any goodies with the cd, is a big fuck you Bleep. Definately not ordering from them again.

I ordered TH + few other CDs. The package came ... 10th June, contained all CD's but TH :(.
So what's the difference between pre-order and normal order?
I downloaded WAV's then, but it's not the same - I'm old-fashioned when buying music.

i was excited that the album was going to be released on my birthday, but then i found out it came out here in new zealand a few days before the official release (and i got the official mp3s on the day) and some people i knew already got the vinyl from a record store in town.
its not fair
im still waiting for my copy of the vinyl and will probably be waiting another 25 days
it was the first thing i preordered ever in my life and will probably be the last thing too. all it brought me was misery and depression. they couldve at least tried to get them to arrive a day after the release.

thanks bleep :)

Postie's just gone, and still no album.

I was supposed to have this last Friday on Ireland's release day.

I reckon I was in the first 100 people to pre-order the album from Bleep in the entire world, yet people who have recently bought it on a whim already have it and I don't.

Not happy with Bleep.

At all.
