i've just emailed them myself also on behalf of my Irish/UK friends who still havent received anything.
i just noticed, all their BOC new shirts are now out of stock. Autechres new Exai shirts have not been restocked in weeks, could be the end of the line there.
they should reprint BOCs old Warp brown ones, they were the best. need new ones.

yea i mentioned that also in my email, can almost know when they arrive, yesterday or today.IanRedpoint wrote:If it is the postal service, I would suggest it is at their end. My postman is pretty sound and I've never had vinyl go missing before.
my sure guess is its all BS, theyre still shipping them or at least started last Friday just.
also the fact that there was no advantage at all by pre-ordering, absolute zero.
the longer it goes, the longer they remain out there, with all possibilites for getting damaged.
Oh man, I'm sorry, I just have to update my experience, because this is truly unbelievable:
So my package originated in Ann Arbor yesterday. This is a day AFTER the release date, but hey, I live in Ann Arbor, so at least I knew I'd be getting it really soon.
Just checked this morning, and my package is now in PENNSYLVANIA.
Wtfffff how does this even happen?

ryan, unfortunately with budget cuts over the last decade, the sorting facilities have significantly decreased and centralized to a few key locations in the US. one of those is apparently in PA as most of our records in the states were shipped from MI, and went first to PA. Believe it or not, the USPS have the logistics figured out to the point where it's either actually faster (or about the same speed), or more economically viable for them to dump everything at a massive plant in PA where the Zips are sorted out and then dispersed. Ann Arbor doesn't have a large domestic airport either for outgoing lumps of anything from any warehouse, so they "outsource". If Ann Arbor has a good chunk of production facilities like this vinyl plant, it's probably just too expensive for the local USPS office to sort out all the local shipments. UPS does the same--most packages I send home to Wisconsin from Utah go to Tennessee first. Don't know if that's helpful.

That really is shite. I've now bought the vinyl from an indie shop, can easily pick up the CD, but the t-shirt was the one thing Bleep offered that I couldn't get elsewhere. If they have to re-send everything (minus the out-of-stock t-shirt) I would rather they just refund me instead.thepastinsidepressant wrote:i just noticed, all their BOC new shirts are now out of stock. Never again. I now know my local indie shop will get in anything I request, so I will use them and Norman records for those import obscurities.
I had to cancel my order for Silver Wilkinson with Bleep. They told me to wait 28 days. I did. They think it was lost in the mail. WTF. My TH has been sitting in Pennsylvania since Tuesday.machinea wrote:Okay I just got my order from Bleep. GREAT but that means where the hell is SILVER WILKINSON????? which was ordered 2 months ago and dispatched 5 weeks ago. Flipping irritated.

Update to my situation, with full email chain from Bleep:
TE, Jun 13 11:41 (BST):
Hi Matt
We are sorry and we understand your frustration. Canadian orders for this item were shipped from the UK, hence the longer amount of time we have to allow before we assume an item is lost in the post. Because this was shipped from the UK, this item was shipped by Royal Mail standard class and therefore we are unable to provide a tracking number.
It is unlikely that your order will require as long as 28 days to arrive - this item was shipped on the 5th of June and so should be with you soon - but we have to allow this amount of time just in case there have been delays in the post that are beyond our control. Our stock room have done their best to try and ensure orders would reach customers as close to the release date as possible. However, we hope you understand that this is not always an exact science and sometimes hold ups in delivery, particularly when we are shipping outside the UK, can occur.
We do hope your record will be with you soon.

Matt Adams, Jun 12 19:00 (BST):
I was under the belief that all orders originating from the US/Canada were
to have tracking information provided and shipped from the US. Also, there
was no option at time of purchase for me to pay for (or request out side
what was stated) tracking. I only ordered from Bleep because it was stated
that there was shipping coming from the States, and if I have to wait 21
more days I will be seriously upset and feel misled, as a 28 day shipping
time would indicate it came from the UK.
I do appreciate that I was given the WAV/FLAC files, but that isn't what I
ordered or paid for. Please be aware the fact I am not very happy with
this, as I could have ordered from elsewhere and already had my shipment
(at least know where it is!) or walked into a record shop on Tuesday and
bought it off the shelf.
TE, Jun 12 18:43 (BST):
Hi there
I'm afraid we are not able to provide tracking for orders unless otherwise requested and paid for. This is because all our orders are shipped Royal Mail Standard Class. We do ask that you allow up to 28 days for orders to arrive from date of dispatch, which would have been the 5th of June. If your order has not arrived by then, please do let us know and we will be able to take further action.
Sincere apologies for the wait.

Order# - I'm just wondering if/when I would be getting tracking info regarding this order?
Thanks!

Also, just got an email stating:
"We are emailing to advise that your MP3 version of 'Tomorrow's Harvest' has been upgraded to a lossless version. You can now log in and download your choice of 16-bit WAV or 16-bit FLAC from the Music section of your account. "
"Special Warp Offer
25% off all Warp Records music releases on Bleep for the next week.
Enter the code WARP25 in the checkout.
View Warp on Bleep
Offer open until 19th June. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions on the store. Offer not available on pre-order items, does not include discount on postage costs."
...so I can buy MORE stuff that won't arrive on time!
I think Warp spent all their marketing dollars on the ramp up to the album.

Yeah, just got that mail too - is this a sweetner for UK/Ireland customers who didn't get their orders yet, or did everyone get this?drixlin wrote:Also, just got an email stating:

Dear diary,
I went to my local record store and hold the vinyl for a while. Just to be able to feel how it would be owning one of those things..
I did get a BOC sticker tho, which was cool.
They didn't have any posters...
But they had a huge ass canvas print of the cover.
Then I went home and waited some more for the mailman.
The end.

Also, redownloaded the mp3's in my bleep account - they are the same file size as the ones I downloaded Sunday - so no change as far as I can tell...
