I'm kinda over it right now, I do have the album on my computer and phone already. I'll just sit out and wait, it's not like they're doing this on purpose. It got fucked up, nothing to do about it I guess.

We can keep complaining, but it wont fix anything. Let's just listen to the flacs/mp3's they have given us, and the longer the wait, the more amazing it will be when it will be at my doorstep.

I went to my local record store and hold the vinyl for a while. Just to be able to feel how it would be owning one of those things..

I did get a BOC sticker tho, which was cool.
They didn't have any posters...
But they had a huge ass canvas print of the cover.

Then I went home and waited some more for the mailman.

The end.
I did the same exact thing. It felt like I was a little kid who didn't have enough money for an ice cream

My wife and I left separate comments as well :D

Best one from the post:

"I will probably say thank you for mine when I eventually get it." LMAO! Exactly how I feel...

...so I can buy MORE stuff that won't arrive on time!

I think Warp spent all their marketing dollars on the ramp up to the album.
Yeah, just got that mail too - is this a sweetner for UK/Ireland customers who didn't get their orders yet, or did everyone get this?
Same here!
It's a joke right!?

Here's the two emails I got from Bleep. I haven't yet compared it to any emails anyone here may have gotten, but here they are for completion's sake.

In response to my angry email:

"Thanks for getting in touch. I do totally appreciate peoples frustration with shipping times, I hope if I lay out for you the process that was used it will allay fears that something underhand was going on or that we do this in a non thought through and uncaring manner.

We are not able to ship any orders until the week before release as the stock is not available to us. However everything outside the USA shipped Monday Tuesday and Wednesday the 10th -13th with the packages going to the farthest places leaving on Monday. I assure you that everything was shipped as soon as possible but are in the hands of the postal services, and there is a lot of variability. We therefore advise European customers to allow up to 14 days and outside Europe up to 28 days. Some packages can fly through the postal system in days, and some get help up for weeks. We therefore try to set people's expectations accordingly.

The USA was shipped from Michigan between the 6th and the 10th. This was timed for everything to land on the release date. Frustratingly the USPS shipping times seem to have let us down in some cases and I'm very sorry about this. Places that USPS advised would be 24 hours shipping time are showing estimated delivery dates on the 17th which is totally unacceptable and we will be taking this up with them. There are some cases where these long estimated delivery times have reduced massively overnight, so we are hoping that these are incorrect and will drop for most people. I also have found that a number of people received tracking notifications after release date. These were infact shipped in advance of release date, both notifications were delayed. The tracking will show this.

We certainly do not take those who preorder early for granted and I do understand peoples frustrations. We will look at if there is any way to improve this so that orders land on release date for more people, particularly when shipping domestically within the States.

With regards lack of additional bonus items. There were no posters given out for customers, but perhaps some shops gave away promotional ones. A limited number of real world record stores were given stickers by Warp - I believe to support them with something special. We did not have any of these and I can see that as a completist you would want everything and will feed this back. However we have tried to offer a good experience to preorder customers by providing one track up front and the whole album digitally on the Sunday. If you have any other ideas how we could improve this I would be keen to hear them.

Thanks again for getting in touch.
Best wishes
DM"

This is the email I got after I sent them the link here:

"I sent you a message separately just now about your general concerns, but also wish to respond about your specific order.
Your specific scenario is not right. This should have been shipped in an earlier batch of orders to reach you sooner. The 17th estimated delivery date seems excessively long though. I would be grateful if you can get back in touch when it arrives so I am aware what the actual transit time was.
Please accept our sincere apologies.
Best wishes
Bleep Support"

So please, anyone with any ideas on how Bleep can improve, do tell them so now.

Seeing some damaged copies on Facebook...splits that only old 60s records should have.

My friend refused to listen to anything from the album until he had the vinyl and then it turned out to have Side A on both sides.

Seriously though, how the fuck do they manage that?

Just for reference, I ordered twice on pre-order day within 15/20 minutes of the two orders. I received the first order (CD and Vinyl) yesterday. I still have not received the second vinyl order. So weird.

The irony is, it'll probably be worth a frigging fortune one day.
