Honestly? I don't think they knew/know enough about all the different countries they had to send to to get orders out on time. Why mail something to the 2nd most western province in Canada, with only 4 days to get here...FROM THE UK...and try and tell me they are trying to get it to me in time? I can't even get that level of service from within Canada, let alone overseas by standard ground delivery!thepastinsidepressant wrote:it all seems to me that they didnt want anyone getting their hands on it a few days before each zones release date or before digital files were released to avoid the... leak! theres no other reason i can see.drixlin wrote:Do I expect anything out of all this? I firmly believe it's not because they don't care - it's just that they don't know. They're not used to this high level of preorder, to all corners of the globe, to have proper, day one shipping options. One thing they did say, was the cost was prohibitive - but my counter was, so? If it's too expensive, make it an OPTION - the default 7-28 days will be x amount, to guarantee day one delivery will cost xxx amount.
Also, they cleared up the 28 days business and I offered some new wording for them...it's not 28 days expected, it's 28 days UNTIL THEY CAN MAKE A CLAIM against the Royal Post. Wording is key, and saying 7-28 days for shipping isn't true. 7-14 days makes more sense, with anything over 28 days, a new order will be shipped as it's deemed lost and Bleep gets reimbursed by the Royal Post (AFAIK).
I AM GOD. THE ULTIMATE RESONANCE.
There are a lot of different 'me's, you know. There's the mad me, when I get angry.

yeah, i agree this is quite sensible. Living in Japan, I expectedmine a week late or so, not 4 weeks!drixlin wrote:Honestly? Mine too! I didn't want to say anything because enough people were bummed about not even having gotten their damn vinyl yet, that I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth (I got mine on release day), but COME ON (to quote Gob Bluth).mvj wrote:woah, mine has a nearly identical tearpolar sky wrote:![]()

At least I'm not the only person in the world who hasn't received their copy. Although it seems from most accounts that I can expect either a ripped case or a warped record or two. I still haven't heard anything aside from the "Reach For The Dead" pre-release single. I really thought today was the day...haha.
