Haha, in some ways im kinda glad Twoism is quieting down. Time to clean up!

I got the sarcasm, good analogy.

We still have a steady 20+ lurkers to entertain though.

Haha I noticed the recent slowdown and was beginning to wonder what this place was like during "normal" times.

As one of the newbies, just wanted to say that I've realized quickly what a great and tight-knit community Twosim is, and moving forward hope to be able to contribute to that. Thanks for the warm welcome as we crashed your party like an invasive species.

As much as I liked how twoism came back to life in the past few weeks, I'm still used to being able to check it once every evening and having like five new posts.
So yeah, it was a great time, but this constant feeling of missing 80% of what's happening started to become annoying

Ahh yes, Twoism the way I like it. Low and slow

To be clear, I'm not against the 'new seeds' in the slightest. Welcome, one and all. It's purely the pace of the discussion that's become a little too fast for this old timer

Slow down... as my two friends in my signature would undoubtedly say.

When I look back on the whole event from beginning to end, it seemed like it all happened so fast! Going from several years of silence to having a new album I'm sure we've listened to at least a dozen times by now was pretty intense.

I'm afraid I'm guilty of going a bit fast on here (585 meaningless posts since April 26th!). In my defense, I don't use facebook or myspace or any other forums and I have loads of spare time on my hands because I got made redundant a few months back. I'm unable to make any music at the moment cause my soundcard/interface is dead (can't afford a new one until I start work again) which usually takes up most of my free time and goddamn, all this BoC activity has been really exciting. I've had a really shite year so far, lots of things going wrong in my life and this place has put a smile on my face when I haven't really felt like smiling. If it wasn't for this forum I'd probably be a lot more miserable than I am now.

I understand it's been a bit frantic for all you old school Twoism people (Invasion Of The Long Time Lurkers!) but yeah, it's slowing down now and I'm afraid I'm staying. I'm unable to help financially at the moment (start new job at the end of July so will be donating at some point) but if I can help with anything else on here, I'd be happy to chip in.

:)

Afraid of staying??? Pourquoi??

Anyway, this place is like the Hotel California. You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave. And believe me, I've tried

Less Hotel California & more Fawlty Towers at times.

I see myself as The Major ;)
