Boards of Canada - Alpha Taxonomy (WARP169CD)

Release date: December 4, 2006

Warp Records are delighted to announce the highly-anticipated Boards of Canada box set Alpha Taxonomy, a collection of previously unreleased songs and rarities, commonly circulated online as the 'Old Tunes'. Unwillingly leaked to the web years ago, Mike and Marcus have finally given into the incredible demand for the tracks. They've remastered and re-recorded a colossal 87 tracks, spanning four compact discs, as well as overseeing a gorgeous accompanying 32-page booklet. The lovely resulting package goes well beyond the high expectations the duo's fans have come to hold. Alpha Taxonomy will be available for pre-order from Warpmart in the coming weeks.

Boards of Canada will be performing live at a handful of shows in early 2007.

"Alpha Taxonomy"

Fake or not, that's a perfect name. Just do a search and read up on it.

The sad thing is, if it's fake, we've already done exactly what the faker was going for... :(

Welp folks. Next time, I think we know the procedure.

Just don't even post a reply.

The only way that I could see this as being even remotely possible is if the person that posted that shit worked for Warp.

But that person doesn't and it's all a crock.

*I did like the name of the box set though - Alpha Taxonomy, I must admit. Sounds a little more interesting than The Campfire Headphase*

Why don't we all just wait for a " real " conformation about that release from Warp. This thread is getting more pathetic by the minute :!::P

Where are you from and what is your source?

There is no need to be all mysterious if this really is going to happen you see. If you are related to Warp/BoC in any way people will find out about it anyhow.

You're an asshole dude, you used to be a respectable member of this forum, now you're shit.

God damn it. Why can't the BoC community just post real news when it happens, instead of all this fake bullshit. Aesthetics, I really say a sticky gets posted on all this fake stuff. Fake = Ban. Please. I'm sure other forum members support me on this, maybe a poll is in order? Meh.
