I've got a sealed one that I bought with the Aquarius 7" for $100 USD about 6 months ago from an Amazon user of all places (seen on my post on the last page). To be honest I didn't know much about it at the time, and certainly didn't know it was so rare. I figured most of my money was going towards Aquarius single but I'm happy I have it.Macfuk wrote:so I picked up a copy of the MHTRTC Promo 10". I don't have a photo yet, but its this one:

Limited to 200 copies? And I paid €25? I know they're not exclusive tracks, but still. It's got to be rare, even by BOC standards.
Anyone else got one? How much did you fork?
(not selling. just enjoying)

Didn't we all realise that those cassettes were definitely not legit?NEUROMUTE wrote:Pictured:

Aquarius 7" test pressing though, that's awesome, where'd you get that?
I don't know if the OTv2 is real, but the BoC Maxima I had isn't the same one pictured. AFOT is real, though. The Aquarius test pressing, I got from Discogs for nearly 200$. (Which was absolutely ridiculous of me, but it was desperation, haha!)MindElevation wrote:Didn't we all realise that those cassettes were definitely not legit?NEUROMUTE wrote:Pictured:

AFOT is from the same lot I bought from eBay, the OTv2 is from the Goodwill findings.MindElevation wrote:How do you know the AFOT is real but not if the OTv2 is real? You got AFOT on ebay? I was reading your other thread at the start. When did you get AFOT? Lucky guy if it's legit!NEUROMUTE wrote:AFOT is from the same lot I bought from eBay, the OTv2 is from the Goodwill findings.MindElevation wrote:How do you know the AFOT is real but not if the OTv2 is real? A few weeks to a month ago, it came separate from BoC Maxima.DaveJ wrote:You got AFOT on ebay? I was reading your other thread at the start. When did you get AFOT? I can't find? Where? Pretty sure if there was a AFOT cassette for sale on eBay recently it would get some publicity here. Not to mention the fact I check BoC listings on eBay almost daily.NEUROMUTE wrote:Check Bocpages, they had it up on their Facebook, I believe.MindElevation wrote:You got AFOT on eBay a few weeks to a month ago..? It was the whole "undisclosed seller" bullshit. Either way, I still don't know if OTv2 is legit, and I don't know how to verify it.MindElevation wrote:I can't find? Where? Huh? So you're saying that you are the person who got one of the tapes that Laura Rix Martin/Mike Paradinas put on eBay and then took down?NEUROMUTE wrote:It was the whole "undisclosed seller" bullshit. No, no. I got a copy from a similar circumstance on eBay. **Whoever got it sold it.**MindElevation wrote:Huh? Also, you can see the difference in the Goodwill tapes from the BoC Maxima/AFOT I have posted photos of here.NEUROMUTE wrote:No, no. Highway to Hassake is great! That's the only Souleyman record I own. I really want to find his early tapes. I love Dabke and Middle Eastern music in general.jcotteri wrote:I can't believe you have an Omar Souleyman record.. That's so dope! Respect.Morris wrote:
