i think i have a found a potential sample BOC used. Live to tell by Madonna came on at my work at it sounded really boards-esque. Cold earth maybe?

Madonna didn't sample anything from that movie. The song was written by Patrick Leonard who gave the song to Madonna to use for Sean Penn's movie 'At Close Range'.

Wow. This has always been my favorite Madonna song. Such a moody piece of music. Knowing that it was not penned (pun?) by her says a lot.

Cold Earth sounds pretty organic to me. I don't think it contains any samples beyond the voice snippets
