I swear, sometimes (most of the time actually) I enjoy BoC Maxima MORE than MHTRTC. But for the sake of the thread, I'll limit the list to official releases:
LPs:
1. Geogaddi
2. MHTRTC (<--- Again, this is BoC Maxima a lot of the time)
3. Tomorrow's Harvest
4. The Campfire Headphase
EPs:
1. Hi-Scores
2. Trans-Canada Highway
3. ABPOITC
4. Twoism
Yea....this looks about right.

1)Campfire=Geogaddi
I can't pick my favorite! One's utterly beautiful, the other utterly brilliant. Both are perfect albums, solid 10's
2) Tomorrow's Harvest
Intricate and smart. I love the shit out of this album but ultimately rank it second because I simply don't find the "video nasty" element as appealing as the motifs on previous albums. That said they did it well (Watch Dawn of the Dead or any other shitty 70's/80's film, it's uncanny) but I honestly don't like these kinds of movies, so that thought is always on the back burner. JC might be my favorite BoC song.
3)IABPOITC
Quite simply a prefect EP. Love it from Kid for Today to Zoetrope.
4)MHTRTC
Ranking this low is a deathwish in any serious BoC community. I'm as big a Boards fan as anyone else on this forum, and I like a lot of things about this record. Hell, some of their best songs are on it, but I find about half of it skippable. I know, sacrilege! Sue me.
5)Hi Scores
Solid. 'Nuf said
6)Trans Canada
Beautiful in its own right, but never seems to hold my focus.
7)Twoism
A solid early effort. Tacks like Sixtyniner, Twoism, and 1986 Summer Fire are superb, though this still has a lot of skip material IMO

1. Music Has The Right To Children (Classic. Amazing atmosphere, brilliant melodies, just awesome all round. Oh yeah, and only their best song ever, Happy Cycling. 10/10)
2. Geogaddi/Tomorrow's Harvest (finding it incredibly hard to choose at the moment, both are 9.5's for me. Give it a few more months...)
3. Campfire Headphase (I feel really bad putting this last, because I love this album. It's at least a 9/10 for me. It's just the rest of their albums are 9.5 or 10!)

Thinking about it now that everything has settled down and I've listened to everything they've done over and over I think I've passed the point where I can really rank albums as favorites. It really depends on mood/seasons etc.
TH is still blowing my mind though, but it got really hot for awhile and it wasn't doing the trick, then yesterday it was cold enough I needed a hoodie and I listened to it again and it was fucking perfection. Perfect fall album. These dudes are amazing. Masters of mood.

All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
