as the sun rises over hexagon sun a small areal craft rises from the domed roof. it flies slowly with minimal noise over the UK raining down jigsaw puzzle pieces that, when assembled correctly, show the location of the one and only BOC set.

Yep, no word yet on Bleep or anywhere else.
Is it possible we've been trolled with a whole new fake.....?

If they do another single I don't know why it'd be this. I haven't gotten much into Come to Dust yet. It sounds more like music from a 2000's movie than anything from the 80's. It doesn't seem that memorable to me. Just seems like it's supposed to be "epic" in a car-chase or riding-into-battle type of way. The best parts are the first and last 20 seconds.

Why not Jacquard, Nothing is Real, or maybe Cold Earth or New Seeds (I definitely prefer the first two).

We should just call the Peer Group number on the sticker and ask "for more info". Maybe tell them yr calling from some station/magazine/company, etc. Worth a shot...?

I'd call, but I'm at work, and extremely hung-over (typing this right now is a chore).

Well BOC are def on their roster and I've emailed them this afternoon so we'll see if there's any response in the next 24.
Hope getting blitzed last night was worth it, you are now reaping tomorrows harvest!

yep, odd choice. it works well on the album after new seeds but as a single? i can't think of a good reason for choosing this other than BoC being content with their cult status. Cold Earth is the most obvious single on the LP to me. but they don't do obvious as we all know.

It's the most obvious with most people on here you would think. This would of been a good choice (instant appeal) and would at least introduce new people to the album and the message/theme it's trying to convey.

Makes a great ringtone too!

I probably would think that these Peer Group singles weren't their ideas to begin with, and they would rather not release anything like this which merely seems like a cash-in. Or well, it can't be that either, because these 'singles' are virtually not available anywhere. But yeah, long story short, I don't think Boards is in any way behind these unless extra material is released. It's some promo crap I guess.

Have been beginning to think it's just a radio/promo thing, but reading a post from 2008- MDG did say "there's a new album coming out first, and maybe more. No dates yet, but they are definitely coming.". Not saying it will come in the form of an August CTD single/ep, but it does lend hope for something at some point...

And when he refers to "first" and "they" he was referring to the old unreleased stuff and the "mountain of tracks" that didn't make the current records. I should probably stop looking at old MDG posts, but I do have faith/believe in him!! :)

Reminds me of how Justice releases their singles AFTER the album is released.

a lot of people have and used to. There used to be B sides. sometimes the B sides were the best tracks.
sadly those almost don't exist anymore.

I feel like a wee prick, but is this not the worst track on the album? Sorry, that should be a statement rather than a question.
If you don't have the dik sometime, then the art is not about human race. Then is not art. This my theory.

I still think it's the best track myself.
Opinions. Subjective viewpoints. etc.
